He is a sweetheart
I don't know what he's done/planning........ but it's bad, very bad :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Fortunesmiles- better to be on your guard just in case eh!
Well done on sorting out the garage must be a relief for it to be finished I bet!!0 -
He may be buttering me up because after his 3 months probation he can choose which company car he wants. He's got his heart set on a Jag  but we will be taxed on the benefit of the car and the benefit of the fuel his employer provides. This is based on the value of the car and the C02 emissions which makes a Jag very, very expensive. I'm not pushing the conversation yet - I might have three whole months of treats ahead of me :rotfl:Mortgage: 100% paid Emergency Fund: 100%

Lovely day pottering around in the sunshine.
Mr F sorted some corrosion out on my Landy. I spruced the house up a bit as I may have a few visitors in the week. So chores were done but at a very relaxed and leisurely rate.
Just a little MS:- another Amazon voucher from $wagbuck$. That will go onto my account for buying Kindle books
- reconciled the bank accounts
- a little PAD off the credit card
- two meals today using up the courgette glut - Courgette, Chilli & Mint Pizza (I know - sounds weird but tasted fab) plus the remaining Haloumi and Green Vegetable Stir Fry
- a cheeky bottle of Avios wine with dinner (again). We'll need to order another crate soon
- an NSD
Enjoy the Bank Holiday

I'm sure DS2 said he was going to set up a DD for the 26th of each month to pay us back the loan we made him. No sign of any deposit so I PM'd him on Fac£b00k. Panicky text received a little later saying he's transferred some money now and set up the DD to start on the 26th of next month. Maybe he was hoping I'd forget - no chance of that, I've a memory like an elephant... or is it a goldfish :rotfl:
Anyway, that's a little extra in our savings account plus- a neighbour gave us a few kilos of plums from their tree today. We already have loads of jam and chutney so I'm going to try another cordial tomorrow with them
- Cauliflower Cheese Quiche from the meal plan for dinner. It's one of my favourites and there is plenty left over for Mr F's packed lunch tomorrow and several dinners for me during the week. Mr F is away with work this week so I'm going to try to get by without a Waitr0$£ shop
- little PAD to the credit card
- an NSD
Hope you all had a lovely weekend

Another neighbour arrived this morning with a donation of plums :rotfl:That must be about 8 kilos now. As you might expect, MS has been mainly plum based today:
- 2 bottles of plum and apple cordial
- 2 tubs of cinnamon plums to have with toasted brioche or ice cream
- 1 tub of honeyed plums to make into crumble
- had a meeting with the boss of my admin job this evening - exchanged a kilo of plums for 3 marrows from their garden
- planned meals for the week without a Waitr0$£ shop
- got paid for the ladder :j although the buyer can't collect for a month. Back in the attic it goes :rotfl:
- an NSD
Off to bed now as I'm plum tuckered out :rotfl:

Ooo that's a good swap. Our marrows are doing well this year (them and onions nothing else grew!).

I've frozen a stuffed marrow before. There was a little deterioration to the structure but I defrosted and baked in a lasagne dish so it didn't matter if it fell apart a bit.MFW: Nov 2008 £156k, Jun 2015 £129k, Jun 2017 £114k.0
