Nope, no idea what 'dippies' are - you're going to have to explain yourself ATT :rotfl:

Our lovely weekend continues:
- we were taken out for a fab 3 course Sunday lunch today by our neighbours. We didn't have to pay a penny as they were taking us out as a thank you for work Mr F did on their car. However, halfway through the meal the subject of an impending 'service' came up :rotfl:Mr F doesn't mind doing the work for friends and neighbours but I am going to have to watch he doesn't get overloaded
- claimed a £10 H0u$£ of Fra$£r voucher from CP today. I already have one and am saving them up for when I need to replace my makeup
- ordered 2 cases of wine
That should see us through until after Christmas now though. A complete indulgence of course but I do like to be a bit MS about it. Buying 2 cases saved us about £33 plus we are in the Premier Club so get 2 free bottles with each order. And there was an extra free bottle on offer this time too. I had most of the money in the bank account so just a little on the credit card which I think I can clear in the next few weeks
- a 34p Tillytidy
- an hour's admin work whilst Mr F is watching WWII stuff - again :rotfl:
- just some Dorset Apple Cake and a cup of tea for supper - we're still full from lunch!

I took a screen print to follow but unfortunately seem to have just missed the OP's name and I wanted to stop by and thank them for posting it. When I think of food I normally think of you, Tilly and MCI but I think it might have been you?

Tillytidies are (I think) people rounding up their cash to nearest £ & maybe paying it off a debt.

Hi Beanielou, yes, that's it, if your accounts aren't at 'round' numbers you can TT the pennies to your mortgage or however you save the OP's up. Of course you could round it up but then your account would not be at round numbers so you'd have to rinse and repeat ad infinitum and by the end of the day your mortgage would be paid off but you current account would be overdrawn by 000's :rotfl:
It's amazing how TT's have spread round here, even saw them mentioned on the DFW board this week

lol, ok, only to be done with a good beef joint roasted for Sunday lunch etc. When it's just finished cooking you take a 'good' bit of bread and wipe it over the joint, if you collect the juices for gravy etc there will likely be some 'lumps' in their too (gawd, I'm making this sound appetising aren't I) and you can dip the bread in there too. It's fabulous and for extra oomph you can sprinkle a tiny bit of sea salt on the bread, or, smear of marmite
I'm a grown woman and still get miffed if my mother does a beef joint and forgets to call me through!
