The same thing has happened to me. We asked do we get to keep the ipad and they said yes. Then we read over the contract and it says I have to hand it back at the end.0

Like a lot of people on here I feel totally duped. To my recollection NOTHING was mentioned at point of sale that after the 2 years my iPad would have to be returned. I was led to understand that I could upgrade and continue to pay or keep the old equipment. I have now paid just short of a grand for an iPad over 2 years and it has to go back. That's just so wrong! I am usually a savvy shopper and would never agree to having to return equipment that I have paid well over the odds for!0

Having just received the e mail options for end of term agreement i rang:) rent smart and explained i was originally told by pc world i could purchase the ipad, although initially they said i should have read the t&c i said as i have M.E. it would be impossible for me to sit somewhere and read such a document. Pleased to say they said i can pay three more months and keep my i pad so happy with that although i think the sellers techniques are dubious and misleading to say the least:)0

Hey, i bought a laptop from currys on that 'leasing' scheme. I wanted it on finance but the guy selling it me said leasing it would be a better option. Ive signed the contract and now i deeply regret it. Does anybody know if they would let me change from the lease to just paying on finance?0

Please give an idea of timescales involved.
For example, did you make the purchase yesterday or six months ago?0
