Hi Hannah,
well done you so far!!! you have made me smile.. I am on the Pay extra payment a week forum have a look in there next time you off work and having a NSD. There are allsorts of ideas and little things that people are doing and the impact on the bigger picture is amazing. I have done this with my sons GF bank account and cleared 2 of my own CC's in the process. My personal favorite thing is the internet banking where you can actually move just pennies (yeah only just found it this year - being an old biddie and that!! lol):jThis week extra payment

Hi Becci & Lancashirelassie
You have both done so well. This will be me one day! Thanks for reading.
I will have a look at the extra payment forum thanks.
Soooo had a NSD today :j 1st one since I started tracking 3 days ago. I got a message from the gold company saying they'd pay £29.94 for what I send off was hoping for a little more but accepted the offer and looking forward to receiving the cheque and paying it off my debt. Still no bids on my e-bay items  where are all the non MSE peeps who are willing to spend money!!
Had a good day at work today and my BF text me saying he'd got me a present this is usually a choccy bar or cake. Got home and he's brought me the One Direction CD. I'd told him the other day when their song came on in the car that I liked it because it made me happy. Bless him he's to good to me. Thinking the CD may be a bit cheesy for my liking but will be good to listen to while i'm pampering myself for the rest of the month.
Right off to watch some rubbish TV and do some ironing.

A One Direction CD? Lol. If anyone gave me that I thought they would be playing a cruel joke on me! As I'm more into rock music myself. But it's nice you got a little present.
Don't sweat about ebay yet, I listed 9 items at one time and 4 of them didn't get bids until the last day or so. I usually put them on a 5 day listing, as I'm too impatient for a 7 day and most people bid on items ending in the next day or 2, other people don't like waiting either!0 -
Morning Hannah

Have you thought about joining the £10 a day thread if you're wanting to make extra money? I've been doing it for over a year now and it's so useful! It's a bit quiet this month as it's a holiday month but you can find it here
For Ebay - the best bet is list on a Thursday evening for 10 days. This gives you two weekends of people seeing your stuff with bidding ending on a Sunday night, meaning a lot of people are at home. Great for a bidding war
Keep an eye out for free listing weekends as well. Debt at LBM Apr 2010 £28,767 Debt free as of Nov 2013 :j0 -

Morning ,
NSD yesterday again :j
I received my gold cheque so nipped to the bank on the way to work yesterday. Will split this over my cc's when it clears.
Working again today so should be easy to acheive a NSD.
So I called the Tax office today to see where my rebate cheque was.....turns out it's for a uniform rebate I contacted a company about a while if you want details let me know) ago and the cheque has been sent to them so should receive my share of this soon hopefully.
May call car insurance and see if i'm due a refund...
Sooo 11 more days of being skint  The weather if forcasted to be good at the weekend so fingeres crossed I can spend my days of in the garden playing cards with bf and not be tempted to spend money I don't have.

ooh this is good news - is that definite? Can't see any mention of it on their homepage...
It was posted on the 'things you never thought you could sell thread'.
It's a good one to keep an eye on - I don't always get the email but when someone does they post on there.
Think it doesn't appear on their homepage till the actual day
