  • Hey Guys

Thats for the messages it feels great knowing others are in the same boat. I know it's only been a few days since I started my diary but it is really helping me think about my money and I can now see the light at the end of the tunnel.....even if it is far away.

Just had a wardrobe sort out and have decided to put some of my old dress's on ebay. Will let you know how it goes :0)

    Good luck everyone xx

Good to see the steps you're taking towards your debt. I've just started my debt free diary too. Maybe we can motivate each other, as we're in a similar position. I'm also a keen photographer too, and my sister's Christmas present one year I made her a montage of some of her wedding photos, printed it out and put it in a frame.

Ebay is a good idea, I've made myself a little spreadsheet on Excel outlining all the expenses and income from ebay so I know how much profit I've made, which will then go onto the credit cards. If you know how to use Excel it's easy to make, if not I can send you a copy if you like. Also keep an eye out for free listing days.

    Good luck with this week.
  • Hey

I have put some clothes on e-bay but other than this I don't think I have anything else to sell...unless anyone is interested in a mischievous kitten or a maxed out credit card

Went to the pub last night as my boyfriend wanted to do this quiz. I drove and he brought me drinks so all I spend yesterday was £1.49 on some wrapping paper for his presents. It is his birthday today I have only got £40 in my budget to take take him out for dinner tonight and i've told him this. We are off for a curry at his favourate restaurant and I will drive which will save 2x taxi fares and also money i'd of spent on drinks. He knows my money situation and is cool with the fact i'm on a budget as he know I want to shift the debt.

I don't get paid again until 31st I have £30 in my bank for food shopping I will be doing this on tuesday I will probably spend £25 and get enough to make a big portion of chilli and freeze a couple of portions for next week. I work shifts at a restaurant so get free food 5/7 days a week which really helps with money. Somedays all I need to eat at home is a bowl of cereal then some soup at night.

I also have £20 for petrol this will hopefully last me till payday I will just have to be carful and not go on unnecessary trips.

So after today it's looking like a few boring weeks for me. I have a few bottles of wine in the house so may arrange a DVD night with some of my friends to keep me from going mad.

Right time to go wake the birthday boy up with breakfast.

Sounds like you're starting to change a couple of things. As Tesco say, every little helps.

I also have some wine in, but it's good stuff from Virgin Wines, so I don't want to drink it all.

    Have fun this evening!
  • Right time to sort out my tax dics. I have got to pop to the DVLA office to day to apply for my new tax dics I am going to have to borrow money from my boyfriend for this as I am waiting for a tac rebate from the gov that hasn't arrived yet I will add the total to my sig when I get back

  • Sooo tax disc sorted £118

Shopping done £22.35 should be enought to last me untill pay day on the 31st.

Popped some old jewelry in the post to a cash complany hoping I have some long lost expensive gold but i'm sure it was just all argos stuff when when I was younger. Still anything towards my debt at the mo seems good.

I'm waiting for a check from a tax refund for about £90 also should receive a letter from car insurance with a refund fingers crossed due to changing insurance half way throught. No bids on any e-bay items yet but a few watchers. As soon as I receive money from these I will pay back BF for tax disc money and hopefully have sme left over to go towards CC etc

BF posted out old love film discs back yesterday so new ones should arrive in time for my next days off to keep us entertained for free.

Just realised I have no money for £14 days now ! Least I will be able t update my NSD sig :j.

Off for a big bath may spend the next 14 days pampering myself with products I have lying around.

I'm so glad I don't have a car if that's how much it is to just tax them!

A bath is always a good idea, nice free bit of pampering.
  • Morning Sharo

Just getting ready for work after 3 days off

Starting to think i'm addicted to this website which isn't a bad thing. I'm really low on foundatio so went on e-bay last night and ordered one for £7 it would usually be £12 in boots + all the other items i'd end up picking up.

Bit scraed about the lack of money I have untill next payday 13 days left

Right best go iron my uniform. xx
