If so an unregistered breeder wanting to get him out the door ASAP to get the mother back into heat ASAP, churning them out for cash.

Archie is adorable. I also have an Archie who came to me at a tiny 7 weeks old when he was found outside a supermarket! I was meant to foster him but he was just tooo cute and loved the other cats so much (this is why I now have 6) so he stayed. He is now just over a year, getting very big, but still a little character.
The love and attention from them is gorgeous - you are mum as has been said, but if you have room maybe think about a little playmate for him? There are so many little ones being left behind at rescue centres at the moment....0
