It's normal for a kitten that shouldn't have been taken from his mum.

He needs the amount of care you are giving him for another four weeks. He'll probably start being a little bit more independent then, more so if he is confident you are there for him.

That's why you aren't supposed to separate them so early, because they need so much care and a human can only ever be second best to a mum. But you're doing well.

My cat is still like it at 5. If I get up he gets up, if I go for a bath, he sits on the loo seat. I can be on the PC and he will come and lie inbetween my arms on the desk. If I play on the Wii with the kids I sit on a beanbag and he will come and sit on my lap - he's had a few accidental bonks on the head with the wii remote and it still hasn't put him off. If I cook in the kitchen he will sit on the step and watch. He's obsessed!

My little kitten is like this too bless her, it's only when she climbs up my bare legs that it's a problem :eek:.

I took in a stray cat years ago who was very clingy. I was cutting onions in the kitchen one time and he was sitting on the worktop near me....his eyes were watering....silly cat

im happily giving Archie all the cuddles and attention he wants and needs.

he had his first trip to the vet today and had to be given some laxatives. he was surprising well behaved. untill a dog got to close and he gave him a righ hook. was really funny and funnier when he did it again to a german shepard lol.

Awww he is adorable.

My cat is still like that and he's almost a year old now. He was taken at 8 weeks and brought back though cos the woman didn't want him anymore so think he was just desperate for attention.

He does come in when I shout on him at night though or even during the day if he's been out a bit so that's good. He sleeps next to us too and when bf is nightshift he sleeps on my neck !
