aww. he's lovely :) Sounds like you're doing a great job.

Can I ask who you got him from? A friend, shelter, etc? Because they need to be told politely that 8 weeks is too young to separate a kitten from its mother so they don't do it again.

Awww how adorable!! I've always wanted a ginger kitten, instead my last kitten (he's about 6months old now) Is black and white - and he's a terror

He won't leave me alone either by the way, him and the other male cat work together, big Archie opens the bathroom door and they both run in to bother me on the loo/washing my hair/in the bath - my kitten actually comes in the bath, and as much as I do think his personal hygiene needs to be improved - deffo not in the same water as me - ewwwww
  • Oh, by the way, I didn't mention that I'm still followed around at some point almost everyday after 14 years.

And last night, Madam spent from about 1am trying to push me off my neck care pillow. She was still on it more than I was at 7am.

And Fluffyknickers had swapped places by morning with the Defective Ninja who had draped himself over my foot at some point.

And the young ninja came bouncing up the stairs into the bathroom to greet me in the loo. Later, all three followed me into the downstairs loo.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

We have 2 cats and both were very loving and followed us around when small(especially me which I suspect is because I was at home with them in the day whilst OH an kids were in school/nursery and that I am the one who cooks lol).

Both are adults now and go out but the girl (fifi)is still tiny really and is usually with me or the kids all the time. The male Thomas is massive, really huge. Not fat (the vet says he is a perfect size) he is all muscle and solid like a small dog really. Trouble is when you walk to school/nursery/shops etc they both follow along like little dogs and start crying if they lose sight of you lol.

You have to watch when we are all getting in the car as thomas will hop into an open door to come with you. Lost account of the number of times he appears on the passenger seat when you are driving, my mum nearly took him home once rofl.

My daughters nursery is just around the corner and when the kids are outside a few times he has appeared, they try to chase him off but he keeps coming back once he has spotted DD2. I assume he is looking for DD2, but he loves kids anyway. They have to ring us to go around and pick him up.

Last summer was funny watching the kids and their mates running around the cul-de-sac playing and the cats running around with them.

I don't really like cats much. I'm more of a dog person.

I love archie though. I could be a cat convert. :D

    He's a seriously cute furball. :D

Have you thought about getting him a playmate, another kitten of roughly the same age (providing they're old enough to leave mum)/size? It may help you as he'll have someone else to entertain him/focus attention on, plus it'll help him growing up teaching him bite and claw inhibition and give him company when you're out of the house :)

Did you pay much for him?

If so an unregistered breeder wanting to get him out the door ASAP to get the mother back into heat ASAP, churning them out for cash.
