**Big sigh** I want one!! Is his head really only about the size of that bit on your cable?

sshhh. Willows reading this and I think she would move out without her daily crunchy nut cornflake left over milk!

That's even worse than milk for his kidney, all that sugar too.

I know you think your giving him a treat but honestly you are killing him with misguided kindness. Speak to your vet.
Sugar and milk is a double whammy kidney disease waiting to happen.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

    Aww so cute :D

My 10-11 year old Jerry Cat wails like he's being tortured if he knows I'm in the house and he can't see me. And sometimes he'll get up from sitting next to me (despite getting lots of talking to and strokes), head up the stairs, then wail there so I go up and fuss him.

He also follows me quite regularly, and sleeps next to me. Got him from the CPL aged around 3.

Get used to it - it could continue for a long time lol ;)

I live in a 'L shaped flat & Miss Daisy lies on the bed when I'm up so she can see my movements..If I leave the living room & go into the kitchen, she's behind me like a shot..If I go to the loo she stays on the bed.She has an advantage point from the bed as she can see more or less the whole flat from there, apart from the rest of the hall coridor & spare bedroom....
I have hazy, half asleep memories from stupid o'clock today of her lying across my neck & rubbing her face across my chin until I woke up..then she was off like a shot into the kitchen!

Thankyou. She is soo tiny wieght wise (3.8kgs) that a bit of a treat wont do her much harm. She has had a full kidney function check with the vet 8 months ago, and cleared it. As she is so little i was told to let her have what she will drink within reason. Obviously I dont want to cause her harm, so I will remember what you have said.

Goodness me, most people would give their right arm for that amount of attention from their pet and you're complaining?!

Enjoy it while you can because he won't be young for long, while I recover from my envy.

Sorry but you are mistaken. Junk foods are harmful for any human or animal whether they are underweight, healthy weight or overweight. Sugar is basically a slow poison, particularly to an obligate carnivore with zero nutritional requirement for carbohydrates so is not evolved to process them effectively. Research has implicated sugar in dental decay, cardiovascular problems, diabetes and cancer to name a few conditions. The smaller she is the worse it is because a seemingly small amount of milk/ sugar will actually be a relatively high percentage of her daily calories. Many cats go mad for VIYO 'milk' which is packed with nutrients.
