i did ring them up as my back ache was just so painful. i went and sat up in bed and eventually it eased up. think it is the couch as well. not comfy at all. so i spoke to a lovely midwife who said to keep an eye on things and she said this is normal. she asked about my plug and i said i havent seen it and then she asked about waters breaking and i said no. i just keep seeing my pants really wet. lol .i forgot to tell her that though..

today back is much better but i am tired as got up so many times to go to the loo.. that is one thing i wont miss after little one is here, the millions of times i have got up to pee as feel uncomfy.

off for lunch with the kung fu guys shortly.. i used to do kung fu but gave it up and dh goes, so meeting them shortly.

hope you are all ok and labour vibes to the boldies and also good luck for any sweeps happening. will come on later. have xmas presents to wrap so might stay away from the net. lol. xx

Hello ladies, I'm just popping in quickly to let you all know that my beautiful boy Theo David was delivered by C-Section at 16.58 on Wednesday, weighing 7lbs 4ozs. It was a pretty traumatic few days but we are now home & doing really well. I'll post my birth story as soon as I get 5minutes.

Huge congrats to LadyM & CL & good luck to all the ladies who are due. Even though my labour didn't go to plan it was an amazing experience & I was well looked after by an amazing team of people.

Midwife managed a small sweep as she caled it as cervix only slightly open but she old touch the baby's head :eek: she's going to arrange another one for a couple of days and then induction on Thursday if nothing before then.

Definitely woke baby up anyway

Well no news here, went for a loooong walk earlier (just got back) as I figure the pressure might help cervix thin. Had some acupuncture yesterday and will again Mon/Weds too. Also back at hospital Monday for assessment and will have a sweep then.
