Ladies, having a little pregnancy panic, wondered what you think. I'm supposed to be having lasange that I'd had frozen in the freezer. I made it before I was pg with Quark and tesco low fat cream cheese but I can't tell if
A) they're pasteurized andIf they'll be ok after being frozen.
Other option is a McDonalds and I've not been that healthy recently so I want the lasange to work!
Quark and cream cheese are both pasteurised and will be ok after being frozen. Enjoy!0 -

My personal opinion would be that even unpasteurised cheese is probably safer than fast food in reality. Soft cheese and quark are definitely fine though.
I am at the point of hobbling like an old lady now :rotfl: not a good like.
I have another consultant appointment tomorrow, this time to discuss Polyhydroamnios in addition to my VBAC. Nothing is straight forward at the moment.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Hello ladies
Had a bit of a do yesterday as bean decided not to move all day
So got home from work had a pint of cold milk, a mini Yule log & laid down to try & get Bean to move but nothing so rang the ward & ended up strapped to a monitor for an hour! I only expected 30mins at most but the midwife forgot she'd left me hooked up to it whilst we were waiting for the Dr to come & check the trace
Discovered that one of the things/feelings I thought was Bean turning to face my back is actually braxton hicks! Was really surprised but it definitely makes sense, I just thought it was Bean stretching that was making my bump tight! All was ok & we had some movement whilst we were being monitored but because it was the 3rd visit to the ward about reduced movements they decided to send us for a scan today which was nice because it meant we got to see Bean again although obviously I'd prefer not to have the worry of reduced movements! Had to go & see a Dr after we'd had the scan but he just said all was looking good & they had not concerns
Although Bean is measuring a little bigger than average apparently but no one seemed worried about it so I'm not worried either!
The midwife on the ward actually commented on my 'nice, tight bump' yesterday & did tell me the community midwife measured me bigger then my weeks last time I saw her! Made me chuckle as I've definitely expanded quite a bit in the last couple of weeksI wonder what I'll measure at next time I see her, I dread to think!
Also discovered on the scan this morning that Bean is currently head up (breech) but seen as we're only 30wks today, I'm hoping things have plenty of time to change & Bean will turn because I'm really hoping to at least labour in the birth pool & I'd imagine if Bean is breech then that might not happen
Oh, and Bean is now irritating a nerve apparently which is causing me some pain around the bottom of my shoulder blade. Not happy about it but its not all the time so I can deal with it. It's better than some of the alternative problems I could be suffering I guess!
Hope everyone else is doing well. Definitely might be worth getting those palpitations checked out Rups if they carry on, better to be safeAnd as for cheese, I had pasturised Brie the other day with the rind cut off! I'd probably get told off by the midwife but I couldn't resist!
And it sounds like you have some definite bargains there Marta, I don't blame you buying some bits no matter how advanced they may be
Hope things have started to move for you littlemoog, you're definitely more patient than I imagine I'll be at your stage
Right, time for some Eves pudding & custard to ruin my healthy stir-fry teaBig cuddles to everyone & labour vibes to those who need them!

Evening all
hope everyone is ok. Labour vibes to all who needs them. I'm 38 + 3 today and doing ok. I had my haircut for half price today as I had a voucher
made me feel better. I can't complain in the whole I've been in very good health, just tired now and my mind is working overtime on all the things I'd like to do now I'm not at work. Mind is willing but body isn't always :rotfl:
I have started a diary on the DFW board to try and kep me on the straight and narrow whilst on maternity and not get back into debt. Hopefully it will help me be wise.
DD in pants for 3rd day in a row, must be mad potty training her this close to due date but it just seems like the right timealso save some pennies.
Need to remember to take my raspberry leaf tea capsules
Planning on doing a few things round the house in the morning as gas man due to fix boiler then pop to town about 30 mins away in the afternoon. May treat myself to a cuppa and piece of cake - in the interest of not overdoing it you understand :rotfl:
Enjoy your evening everyone0 -
Evening ladies
Got all excited this morning as I had regular tightenings every 20 mins for 2 hours which were mildy uncomfortable. They stopped though, and not had anything much since, but it's the first definite sign so feeling hopeful that something will start soon.
Otherwise not done much today, went to Mass to speak to the priest about baptism for Beanie and how to go about arranging it. Thought it might be easier to do now than after the birth! Then spent the afternoon knitting on the sofa with battlestar galactica DVDsgeeky but absorbing and we have all 5 seasons on DVD so should keep me entertained for a while!

mlbarret.. i hope so !! I rang many and /BG told me if i switched to them, they will sort a normal meter for me. Apparently this guy told me the lady ran a credit check on me and i did not pass but she failed to let me know ( on the phone tho she said everything was alright) so it is been 5 weeks, the switched took place and now we are in a dispute. I just can not believe i did not pass a credit check, as my credit score is good as far as i know.Mejor morir de pie que vivir toda una vida de rodillas.0
