I mean the lady bits. I always think a few weeks later it looks worse with stubble, than when it has gone totally wild! I've never wanted to take the whole lot off, but an aquaintance is a midwife and says all the Eastern European girls seem wax it all off before they have their babies.0

Morning ladies,
I have a Hollywood wax regularly, had it done at about 19 weeks and everything was so much more sensitive... It killed!! I had it done against week ago but took 1 paracetamol before I went and it was fine. I think I will try and time it to have it done at about 38-39 weeks. I know one of my friends a few years ago went into labour and was in the bath shaving... I can't even see my pubes so I do 't know how she managed that!0 -

Hello everyone.:smileyheaBaby Aida is here :j:j:jBaby fund - £3140/£60000 -
hello sweeties how are you all?
so glad its the weekend!!! good luck to the boldies.
interesting topic here about shaving. i am very hairy (Indian roots) haha so try and shave when i can but like someone mentioned, i cant see where i am shaving too and cant even shave my legs properly. i used to get waxed but am scared of the pain lol. so i thought will shave nearer the time. i have noticed weirdly that my hair growth seemed to have slowed down esp on my legs. lets hope this stays. i also epilated my arms when i was away in Italy In August and only now the hair is long. lol.
am chilling out now before we got for mil's bday dinner. just doing the washing up this morning, a few clothes washes and some ironing (bubba's clothes) i got exhausted. belly is def bigger and i fee la bit more uncomfy in bed, and like ML said when baby moves, sometimes it presses on somehting and i am like ouch. lol. feels like a little snake wriggling in there. lol.
well i better stop rambling.hope you all are enjoying your saturdays.
xx

Good evening ladies. It's been a loooooong time since I've posted on this thread, I mostly hang out on the newborn-1yr thread nowadays.
Anyhoo, for those of you not on the Facebook page, I have some avent bottles brand new never opened for sale. Bought them "just in case" but never needed them. 2 x stage 1 and 3 x stage 2 (all with teats etc).
Also a sealed unopened pack of tommee tippee orthodontic 0-3 month dummies.
If anyone is interested, make me an offer0 -
Cl, stubble ? when i shave my bikini line and the pubis is very itchy as the hair grows but i don't have this problem with waxing... when i had the hollywood wax done, it grew back in time but without any pain or stubble hair at all.
I am tired, slow, heavy and feel my tummy is growing in matter of days... remember i posted a pic here just few days ago ?Well my belly is much bigger now...Mejor morir de pie que vivir toda una vida de rodillas.0 -

I've put a new pic up Rups. Squirmy is still sideways. I've been getting pressure on my bladder. Less room I guess.
Even though it's embarrassing I don't mind telling you... I nearly wet the bed last night. I woke at 2 for a pee. Went back to sleep and I remember dreaming about peeing outdoors. Woke up feeling damp... had managed to stop mid-flow >< had to get up and pee again. And change my bottomsOH was oblivious... did tell him this morning though.
Had a weird hormone day too. Found myself crying in the shower for no reasonnm. Back in bed now to catch up on the sleep I missed

Pelvic floor exercises bamama!! I keep forgetting myself though....
On the waxing front, I thought about it but not sure about how painful it might be when the whole thing feels like swollen? I might use the shaver and the Venus with a mirror, although not sure if I will have the nerve to do that once early labour kicks in!!
35 weeks now. I cannot believe it!!!
Completely unrelated: any of you has a breadmaker? Are they worth the money / is the bread really so good? What about a slow cooker? Can you make anything other than one pot stews and soups in there? I was thinking that the slow cooker might be good if I am busy with the baby. I also like making my food from scratch and knowing what is in what I eat. So I thought a breadmaker will allow me to do so and eventually will pay itself off. I tried kneading and making it by hand, but it was a disaster.Quit smoking *1st January 2010*
