Morning All, not had time to post all week wither, but managed to read everyday. Hope all you boldies are doing ok - been a while since a birth announcement
I'm officially number 20 on the list, but, know in reality it's more like 14  only 4 days left at work, then holiday before MAT leave starts on due date. I have to go and have a presentation scan as baby is still totolly 'free' and maybe breechDon't have to go until a week wednesday, so hopefully baby will have got in to position by then so I can still have the home birth I'm planning.
Have loads to do and only yesterday did they confirm my cover at work and he won't be starting until Jan, so I have to do a really bitty handover this week. Am looking forward to Friday as DH is going to tak e day off work, were going to buy some wardrobes for DD1 room that she will move in to and then off to pictures. It may be our last time on our own for a bit :rotfl:
Hope you all have a lovely weekend, just off to get DD ready for her first dance lesson.0 -
Sorry for my continued lack of input. I am reading email digests but I should log on more often.
20 work days left, head down since Wk 25 and 4/5 engaged since Wk 31. His back and bottom are above my right hip and limbs over left hip. He must be comfy. His movements are now starting to become uncomfortable though. I now understand why ladies say they've had enough. I certainly have.
Anyone have fun plans for this weekend? I'm visiting home for last time before D Day. Next time I'm back at mum and dad's, we'll be our own family.
You could be posting this for me! About 20 days to work, baby's head down from week 25 appointment and although no one has said anything about how engaged the head is, I've been having pains below from 26/27 weeks that I only got with DD when I was overdue.
DD (nearly 2) seems to have developed a cough since I put her to bed last night, so both DH & me haven't had much sleep. I had three friends over for lunch yesterday and two brought their 6 week old babies with them. I think I slightly overdid it with cleaning after working all week, so I'll try to take it easy this weekend. I don't want to go into labour before my c-section date!0 -

And the same D Day!
I've been having pain down below since around the same time. I'd be quite happy for him to make an entrance at any time, just wish to feel comfortable again. After the bleed a month ago, birth plan is done, bags are packed and everything is prepared. Stand-in midwife at Weds appt was a bit disappointed we didn't have much to discuss in terms of prep.
Told mum about the part-engagement last night. The look of horror on her face was a picture! Don't think she fancies another trip up to Lincoln County after last month's events. At least I'm prepared this timeLittle man arrived 13 Dec 20120 -
Morning ladies
Just been woken up from my lie in by a stupid magpie pecking the window outside! No idea what it was doing, flew away when I opened the curtains to see what was making the noise!
Felt very uncomfortable last night, and feel absolutely massive this morning, so wondering if my naughty baby has turned the right way out. Hope so, as I didn't think I could get much bigger at 38 weeks plus!
Plan for today is to finish some organising jobs in the house, need to sort the paperwork folders and rearrange living room shelves. Got my best friend and her fiance coming for dinner and board games tonight, should be funLittle monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
Is this your first baby ML?0

One week overdue and OH thinks it's a good idea to go and test drive some cars today. Imagine my waters break in a new car, they might make us buy it!:j little fire cracker born 5th November 2012 :j0

Yes, first baby.
Just wondering, because I didn't feel like this with my first. I found it much easier.
Just for a bit of banter at the weekend, what is everyone doing about waxing defore D-Day? Last time I went and got a bit of waxing done at 39 + 2 I think, then went 11 days over so it was it bit of a waste. This time with a section booked, it might be a bit better LOL!0 -
Congratulations cazza. That's a long time trying! Bet you enjoyed some of it along the way though *wink wink nudge nudge*
Ha ha, sure did!!! It was such a shock when it finally happened though!
Had a midwife appointment yesterday & found my BP had gone though the roof, been to get it checked this morning & its back to normal. Midwife now thinks her machine was on the blink yesterday!!! Great, panicking for nowt! She did confirm that babba's head is now fully engaged & as I'm measuring 2cm more than his number of weeks that he could arrive earlier than 1st thought.
Off to stay with my mum & stepdad for a few days tomorrow, been advised to take my notes & a hospital bag just in case. Can't wait to have a bath at mums as I only have a shower at home.
Hope all you ladies are well today xxxxx0 -
~Hello !! Are u talking about private parts or legs? I had a hollywood ( all absolutely all gone) in January and i was sore for a few days.It lasted 5-6 weeks and i am quite hairy.
With my DD i didnt do it and i felt quite dirty with all the blood discharge so i promised myself i would do it this time around. I am 27 wks+1 and thinking i will wait till week 38 to have it done. I dont think i can handle a practise one just before that.Mejor morir de pie que vivir toda una vida de rodillas.0
