Mrshaworth, I have been really bad on the exercise front :o but at my aquanatal class there are some women at around 20 weeks (and less!) too. I was told it is never late to start exercising, and in fact the sooner the better as long as you do not push yourself too much. Take into account your muscles are not behaving normally, they are more flexible now and more relaxed due to some hormone I cannot remember :D . Make sure you do exercises adapted for pregnancy if you do them at home. I wish I had joined some pregnancy classes before, I am doing aquanatal and I feel great afterwards, it is nice to meet other mums to be too.

Rups, Garmin has been around a long time, the company started before TomTom and used to do the first military GPS. It might not be as popularly known but it is very reliable and better priced.

  • rups currently looking into sat navs for my sister and all the best buys on which are Tom Tom or garmin, garmin are definitely the more reasonably priced but Tom Tom have an offer on amazon at the mo for map updates if that's of interest?

I'm another that's too tired for exercise, but seeing as I'm signed off work at the moment with fatigue I'm not going to feel too guilty!

rups when are you finishing work? I'm finishing at 29 weeks as didn't want to stay longer than I had to and the way the hols work I don't have to go back too soon either.

moneypuddle hope you have some movement soon, I can't help, I was 12 days overdue last time!

    ladyM happy anniversary :j

completely irrelevant question. those who drive, do you have a satnav? which is a good yet reasonable to get? i have been advised to get the tomtom as that is meant to be good. am looking and want a good yet cheap one. thanks ;)

We have a TomTom, but on my phone (Samsung Galaxy SII) and another android phone we have, we use Google Maps, and I much prefer it over the tomtom, as you get live traffic updates!

need a good data plan though and of course, it's freeeee! :D

OMG! Is that your nursery, Rups?? When Freddie moves into his own room we'll probably lose him under the OH's 462 Superdry t-shirts. It's like a hovel in there :(

  • Ive got a tomtom and it's been great in my job (estate agent) but it was pricy. Both my dad and OH have Garmin ones and thy swear by them too.

I had a scan this morning as my bump was measuring small but baby is fine, in fact his tum is measuring at 40 weeks so looks like he's going to take after me. :D. They have estimated his weight to be 7lbs 6oz which is fine by me, same as DD.

I've also managed to batch cook a heap of meals for after baby comes too so everything is beginning to come together :j. I still want baby to wait another couple of weeks though as I want to spend time with DD when she's off school next week. He's allowed to come in the second week of her holidays so she gets some time with him too. If only it was as easy as picking a date :rotfl:

fluff - i think thats just the style Rups wants her nursery in! :D

rups - i have a satnav but its built into the car so no particular brand. would really struggle without mine and strongly recommend them. mine is on ALL the time the radio is on even if you don't plan a route and its really handy seeing the upcoming road names

mrshaworth - pregnancy exercise classes are great for meeting new people. At first I think everyone is quite shy but after a while its really easy to talk before and after the class - after all you have something pretty major in common. I'm friends on facebook with a lot of my preg yoga people now

oh i wish my bubbas nursery was like that fluff. i am hoping to replicate that, not that we have that much space. ;) the colour of the room is the same, and colour of furniture is white so that is the only similarity. :) i soo wish. at the mo, the poor bubbas room has our rubbish. :( annoying..

i tried to sort some bits and bobs from that room and then got tired. wanted a nice shower and eat dinner in peace which i did while watching oneborn every minute. lol. then the monster dh came home and is annoyin me with his eating, as he cant eat quietly. i hate that!! lol
