Diszi when I said the other day you'd spent a fortune it's because I didn't think you were as far gone as you are and still had loads to buy lol. We would have spent a lot more than we have but I won my pushchair and my mum bought us the cot and a friend of hers got us the cosatto rocking crib so those were mahoosive savings there.

Rups when you know it's so hard to not slip up, my SIL didn't want to know but everyone else including her 17 year old daughter said they did so we said sorry but we can't tell everyone and not you, plus the things we've bought would have given it away that bubs is a boy, plus the fact I call him Jakey Bakey all the time.
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

I think it's because you still post on the less than 12 weeks thread it confused me lol, it's only when I saw your sig and thought thats a month after me that I twigged lol.

I'm the same as you, had a spreadsheet with what we needed then where I'd seen it how much it was etc, then how much I paid for it. We just need the mattress protectors now and we are done. I've stockpiled a lot of wipes, nappies etc and have probably overdone it with clothes, toys etc but its our first and I wanted to spoil him lol.

  • Hello all

Sexymouse good grief, hope your mum is ok. Must have been a big shock for you. Sending big hugs to you both. I'm sure your mum will just be glad you're there with her. Glad you had a good time at your class last night.
Clarissa any result from the curry?
RJH hope you're ok this morning, glad you slept well :)
Studentbig hugs, I don't have any advice either sorry.
Ikkle what cd is it you're testing? I'm going to see if our local library has any books/CDs I can look at before buying one.
MMM sorry to hear about the different colour paint. Must have been a....er......surprise when you got home!
    Happy 32 weeks today :)
Emsbet hope you're not too ill with snuffles :( brownies sounds good.
Rups I think you need to be careful with flip flops in general as there's quite a lot of ankle/foot injuries. I'm wearing mine, they're do comfy. Not heard that I shouldn't wear them though. What a lovely girl in your office, surprises that that have me in tears nowadays Lol.
Dizsie wow! But that's a massive saving compared to full price. I'm going to rename myself little miss cheap lol
Sweet/savoury in the early days I craved meat and cheese. But I've always loved cheese! Now I try not to eat too much junky food, but I do like sweeter things in the afternoon.

AFM - the class last night was really good. There were 2/3 couples due on the 12th sept and three couples due on the 13th like us! Could be a busy night! We all wrote down all our questions so hopefully they'll be answered over the next few weeks. She went through the early signs of labour and what to do and when actual labour is. But the best bit was THE CHOCOLATE BISCUITS :) very lovely people too. Was worried I'd be the oldest at 28 but was talking to another girl who said the same and she is also 28.

OH has decided he's sick today so is at home. Is kinda nice to have someone to talk to. But he's not being very talkative lol.
Am going to make some crumbles today. My sister is bringing lots of mince from her shop so will make spag Bol from a jar later, I'm feeling lazy. Not being able to eat big meals without being sick. This bubba is seriously interfering with me stuffing my face, taking up too much room! :(

Well hugs to all those that need them and big labour to those wanting them too xxx
