Good luck sexymouse :) I hope this is it for you!

I can't believe I've moved up to #64 on the list! I think is was either #67 or #69 last time I looked :) I'm so excited for January to come around, I just want to meet little Bean in person :) Had a very wriggly day yesterday but I'm guessing that means it might be a quiet one today which is pants , I like the wriggly days! I got a right wallop last night though, was quite funny as it made me squeak out loud :)

Think we're going to go to mothercare tonight because I need another maternity bra & some tights too. I'm pleased mothercare sell wooly tights as I can't wear normal tight, they go through me! We're going to have a look at cotbeds too I think :) MIL has offered to buy it for us which is nice.

We're going to an NCT nearly new sale on Saturday too. I'm quite looking forward to it & hoping we might get some bargains whilst we're there :) Has anyone ever been to one? What are they like? Worth the trip?

    Mrs B, 22wks today :)

I've phoned labour ward and the lady said it sounds like latent labour still and this can go on for 2-3 days! She said don't worry if the contractions go on and off and become irregular over this time period. I need to call back if my waters go or if contractions are strong and every 2-3 minutes in 2-3 hours.

Good Luck SexyMouse! Hope it's an easy one!

I still feel not great since Saturday night, with a sore back and a tummy that feels like it's going to explode. The baby has been moving so much I felt like it was going to jump out of my belly. I then Googled "increased fetal movements" and started to stress out.

I also had the weirdest craving driving home from work yesterday. To chew tobacco!?! I don't even smoke and definitely have never chewed tobacco! It passed within minutes thankfully!
  • It can come and go for 2-3 days or it can also progress quickly. It all depends. Apparently I progressed quite quickly so here's hoping you do too! Don't get disheartened by that. Sounds like baby is ready to come and meet you - very obedient child to make a go at coming when you wanted!

The nearly new sales are good, but make sure you get there early - members get in 15 mins before everyone else, but there's still a queue so try to arrive at least 15 mins before the doors open to members if you are one! It's a good idea to have a list of what you're looking for - they're normally divided into sections like clothes, bedding, toys, equipment etc, so if you're looking for a bargain on something head straight for that area! We're going to one next weekend, and we want a Stokke Tripp Trapp highchair, so will be heading straight for the highchair section to see if there is one!

  • CL - Tobacco? Eww! And bug hugs for you. I hope you feel better soon.

Don't google anything - best way to scare yourself silly! Although I do it a lot too. I started getting some actual kicking last night as well as the increased pressure - like baby was pushing up against my stomach in a bid to get out through my belly button. Very odd sensation.
