Even in maternity clothes, be prepared to go up a size from your pre-pregnancy clothing size in the last trimester - I am normally a size 10 top and bought size 12 maternity tops just before the last trimester and I'm glad I did, as they fit me perfectly now and the size 10 would've been way too small.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

i am going to get a shock then when i order the tesco coat in a 16 then.. maye i should do 18? lol
I actually find Asda sizing to be quite good. Like Fluff says though a normal coat in a normal size isn't going to be cut for a lady with a bump so that's why sizing may not fit.You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Ikkle, true they can give you an epidural. They've tried 4 times with one lady but without too much luck
.
The steriod injection has nothing to do with being fat. I just said that I wasn't aware they will give one if have c-section before the term (slim, normal or fat).
They can need to relocate it even if your skinny hun, sometimes they don't take or it can only affect one side of your body etc.
Sorry if it seemed like I was snapping over the steroid thing, I'm a walking hormone today and should probably go away. But yeah they normally give two steroid jabs if you labour either naturally or section before term to mature bubs lungs. You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Edit: Yes, they give you water. And even a small bowl to put in in too (which I stole because it's really handy).
Rups I wear size 14-16 clothes so no comment and I'll need to buy bigger clothes as I will explode by the end of this pregnancy
In regards with your BIF :mad::mad::mad: He doesn't get the message. You should start put baby things where he sleeps as he might get the message!!! He needs to move out!!! Your OH is not helping at all! He should have this conversation with his brother.:smileyheaBaby Aida is here :j:j:jBaby fund - £3140/£60000 -
ooh i have a confession to make and as i am confessing, you guys have the right to tell me off (esp fluff). lol
you know how i was moaning about BIL being here? Well next monday, its mine and dh's `1st year anniversary and we are spending a night at Broadstairs on a saturday and chill out and come back sunday and on monday we said we would have a nice meal at home. so i texted bil to say that its our anniversary and whether he was ok to stay at his parents on that day? ( I asked in a very nice way). he was away this weekend thankfully and now hes back. grr. he is quite moody now.
Why is that a confession? Seems perfectly reasonable to want to spend your anniversary with your husband, and husband alone. You have yourself and your baby to think about (and your OH of course). Don't worry about upsetting your BIL's sensibilities, particularly when what you've asked is not in the least unreasonable."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0 -
so if they do offer a steroid injection for bubs it is ok to accept right? i feel excited now, i dont know why.. i just want the time to come quickly now.. lol. i found a pack of maternity pads upstairs (that i had got when i had my MC surgery). i was also told to take normal pads as sometimes maternity ones can hurt inbetween the legs?Became Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!

I assume the steroid injection is to mature baby's lungs if he/she is delivered early. In which case, yes, accept it. Madness not to."Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0

Evening ladies! I have had a very busy day today... Spent hours doing OH tax return this morning then went out with mum this afternoon for hot choc and cake and to Tesco where I bought a men's plum dressing gown for just £9 which means my hospital bags are now complete and in the boot of the car ready to go! Me and OH have just finished piling all the rubbish we no longer want in the porch for mum to take to the council tip on her day off for us...love her! I'm now chilling in the bath as I was so hot and ache!
In other news I think baby is engaged now as it feels like there s something falling out between my legs and I lost a bit of my plug today too....argh!
How is every1?

if they offer a steroid injection for the baby then it's for their lungs so you would definitely say yes, can't see why you wouldn't? lol.
I've heard maternity pads are better than normal sanitary pads as they are softer. xYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
