I guess it's just because the last appointment was so good that I can't see how this one can be as good too. It just all seemed too perfect (apart from baby being naughty to start with) I don't want to build my hopes up for it to boil down to nothing but dashed hopes. Plus part of me still wants him here before the 27th so my auntie can at least see him once before you leaves for Australia.
My entire family and OH are on tenterhooks because of the pains I'm having plus I'm one of those people who doesn't take pain killers unless I really really REALLY need them and I've been asking my OH for paracetemol so he knows I'm in pain lolYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

I used to be ok with medication till I got Ill a few years back and ended up on that many I became a bit adverse to them and fed up, an overdose on tramadol kind of sealed the deal and I really struggle with tablets and things now.

He everyone,
I'm 26 weeks tomorrow and really happy as everything is alright. 14 weeks to go for me, hurray.
dizsie - My GP asked about the flu jab just because my surgery organise a flu campaign and over 65's, pregnant women and (can't remeber the other category) get the jab free. Just call your sugery and ask if they have such a campaign or if they offer a free flu jab of pregnant ladies.
CL Thank you for your tip on witch hazel. I will need to buy a bottle and put it in my hospital bag.
I will buy a moses basket mattress and I'm plannig to buy it from here. They have so many options and also you can select the mattress by make or model or you just give them your cot measurements.

I need some suggestions ... my parents want to be here. Now, if I had a good relationship that would be great, but my mum is overcontrolling, we end up arguing within hours together. Last time I saw them was months before my wedding, and that was over 2 years ago. We speak like twice a year, and since I am pregnant we only spoke once. She has offered me no advice or support, yet my dad has sent me an email saying they want to be here and stay with us 5 days for the birth, but I have to tell them soon so they can find a cheap flight from Spain. We live in a sm ll flat and they want to stay here, but MIL will be here after the birth, we already asked amd she is very helpful and understanding, there will be no problems with her.. I cannot give an exact date for a flight, because chances of baby arriving on due date are minimal. Plus DH is going to take paternity and holiday to be with us, I want to enjoy that private family time too. They do not speak any English, nor are they very adaptable, they will want to either be entertained or to take over and decide and do with baby without even asking, there is no middle ground with them, and they will need me as a translator for everything. And what if I have a difficult labour and just want to rest? What if I have to stay in hospital and my poor DH has to stay with them on his own? ! They do not adapt to peole, they expect people to adapt to them, and I won't be with energy to take them around to see stuff, but the idea of having them in the flat 24/7 is even worse! No one else but me can communicate with them, so I cannot get anyone to take them on a trip whilst I rest. My parents never came to visit before, but previous experience with my ex was awful, they visited once for xmas and they left on Boxing day because they were uncomfortable, when the plan had been to stay until New Year, they argued with everyone and were very diva-like. They complained we did not take them to do excursions, but we were all working at the time and it was Christmas time, for me a time to be at home and enjoy food and company. Honestl y, I m terrified of them coming over, but I do not know how to tell them not to in a nice non-abrupt way. Sorry for typos, I am on mobile.
any suggestions, please?
