Morning ladies,
I'm never up and about this early at the weekend but an on a 24 hr shift at work- I get to sleep a bit of it- and am lying in the least comfy bed ever with a horrible pokey mattress and two flat pillows. I only stay 2-3 nights a month and it never bothers me but looks like I'll have to start coming armed with the armfuls if pillows I use at home!!
I was loving all the Scottish chat yesterday, we're in Aberdeen so not too far from St Andrews, have been a few times and it's such a beautiful town. I haven't tried that ice cream place- going o go back a page and get the name- but I have been at that fish and chip place in Anstruther- it was gorgeous, huge fish and all cooked to perfection. Ok might have to get up just to bring some toast back to bed, food talk this early makes me ravenous and sick lol. Yay can stay in bed, I found a medley bar in my bag!
Aida, im just past 20 weeks, have the scan on Tues and really need to think about getting organised too, we have DD already so I definitely believe how fast time will fly, I also think this bit of the year Sept-Christmas goes about 10 times quicker than four months normally!! We need to start looking at the bigger purchases and doing the next stage of our building site of a house!
Sexymouse- sounds like things may be slowly kicking off- hope you're ok and if this is it it doesn't take too long and if baby is not ready that you're pains naff off for the next couple of weeks.
Have a fab Sunday everyone.MARCH GROCERY CHALLENGE £118/ £2500 -
Morning everyone

I was up with my son at 4am, yawn! I've decided to give the car boots one last try for bargains whilst the weather is good. Hopefully there will be better quality and cheaper bits than last time.
minted that is a long shift! I don't know how you manage that, I'm permanently exhausted without work!
Aida congrats on V-day
Glad that you enjoyed your time away.
snowbean it makes me jealous that you can be so active! There's no way I could mow a lawn. At least there are a few of us that are disorganised then, nice to know I'm not the only one
Hope you enjoyed the popcorn and got a good nights rest Rups. Maybe you and hubby will have a better day today.Cross Stitch Cafe member no.800 -
Sexymouse- it's great being a mum but hard work. Niall smiled for the first time on Wednesday, it's amazing watching him grow.
Ladies planning to breast feed- make sure you always have a jug of water beside you as its thirsty work, I also get dh to put fruit on table near sofa so I can eat when breastfeedingg as you just get busy and forget about yourself. You will spend quite a bit of time sitting down so entertainment is needed-iPad,iPhone, kindle or tv.
Also save those preprepared frozen meals fr when your oh is back at work as again you will be very busy:o)
Wishing you all the labour you want

Well I had the pains again last night, so have decided to not have any RLT today and see if I still get them tonight.

On a plus side, my furbaby has been very affectionate for the last couple of nights - he's been coming into the bedroom again and snuggling me on the bed (he'd not been upstairs for months and months, so not sure if he can sense something is going to happen, as my Mum's cat wouldn't leave me alone when I was round there the other day either). He was up on the bed with me 3 times during the night (he waited for me to go to the loo and then came back to the bed with me, and didn't even mew when I accidentally trod on his tail getting out of bed lol). At one point I was trying to sleep sitting upright to get through the pains, and he put his front paws on my leg like he did when he used to bump guard in the early days, and his purring set Bean off kicking, so Bean obviously recognises the sound.
Just had an email from MAM saying congratulations on the birth of my baby and that I can actually touch it now - sent them an email back saying that this email is a bit premature as I still have 2 weeks until my due date! Then I heard my phone go off - a friend asking: "Any baby yet?!" Don't people think we'd let them know if there were?
Have lots of sorting and clearing etc to do today as we have people coming tomorrow to take down and replace half our bedroom ceiling (repairing the water damage done by British Gas), and they've decided they are going to have to decorate the whole room (bonus in a way, as we've not decorated since we've been here and there are a few cracks that need filling too), but they need most of the furniture etc out of the room! Don't know where we're meant to put it. We also have fitted wardrobes that are going to have to be taped up to stop the dust getting in there, so I'll need to get out all of my clothes and put them in the spare room (Bean's room) where we'll have to sleep. Just hope the dust doesn't float around the whole house, as will be gutted if it makes extra cleaning for me. Moon is going to be at work, so it's up to me to supervise etc. Still, at least I know that one of the guys has 3 young children so hopefully will know what to do if I suddenly go into labour!
Well I'd better go and eat some breakfast - I actually feel vaguely human today - must be all the cat cuddles, so I'd better make the most of the energy I have whilst I have it still.
Hugs to all who need or want them, and labour vibes where appropriate.

SM I'd definitely lay off the RLT for a few days and see if that makes a difference. I've been having those types of cramps for weeks (prob since around 33/34 weeks) but I do feel they were worse the times I took the RLT capsules. Saying that, they have come back with a vegeance today. Although I think I'm starting to lose my plug so fingers crossed, this time is really it!0

Good luck Bellola, hope it's the start for you!
I've decided to give the RLT a miss, I'm not liking the sound of the pain it seems to be causing.
The boot sale was another total waste of time. More sellers than I've ever seen before, but also more overpriced rip offs than ever.
Baby has been being naughty all weekend. She scraped her movements yesterday, with a lot of prompting and lying down/cold drinks/chocolate, but then nothing at all this morning. I went in for CTG just after lunch as she still hadn't moved, would not budge at all. Literally within seconds of getting there she decided to kick like a mad thing. I was so embarrassed, I felt like a right loony going in for nothing
And now I've got DH moaning at me for wasting the petrol and dragging the kids out. He has decided all this movement counting is nonsense that has no purpose but to panic me, so I shouldn't do it any more. He doesn't want to be dragging out to the hospital for no reason. I know where he's coming from as I know I have loads of movements that I just don't feel, but at the same time I'd be guilty forever if something went wrong and I hadn't bothered to go in. The whole thing has left me in a bad mood. Cross Stitch Cafe member no.800
