Ladies that are ready to pop...do you get sad at the thought of losing your bump? I CANNOT wait to meet my baby and love and cuddle him. But my bump feels like a different entity if that makes any sense. I'm getting really sad that bump will go - even though I can't do anything my bump is so big these days.

    Pregnancy is so funny.

  • Evening all,

    Welcome 2b!

Not much going on with me, 20 weeks yesterday and have my scan on tues 11th. Really excited to see how bubs is growing! The 12th will be hubs and I ten years together anniversary so we'll hopefully do something fun next week to celebrate that and hopefully a successful scan.

Been reading most days catching up but never remember what I meant to say to whom!! On today's topics though, I agree, the school run mum's can be a nightmare, there are 4 of us school run mum friends who take the mick out of the cliquey gossipy mum's, honestly you'd think some of them were still at school with the !!!!!ing and rumour spreading that goes on!! We just laugh, lol, but just thought possibly we look like a cliquey stand offish group. We would always be friendly to any mum standing alone day in day out in the playground though.

Also to dizsie- we were in a one bed flat until out daughter was 18 months as it was when the housing market was crazy and we were putting on offer after offer to be out bid I think 21 times!! Honestly you'll be fine, babies are teeny, it's all their crap that takes up the space! I know it's hard though when you've had your heart set on a move and having everything perfect. Have you got good storage where you are or can someone keep the bits and pieces you won't need until you get moved-bigger clothes & the high chair etc?

Hugs to those who need them, I'm sure I'll start posting more when the pace picks up a bit, time still feels like it's dragging. Have started buying some bits an pieces though so the fun has started!

    Happy Friday all! Xx

Ive come to the point where it is peeing me right off, but i know from past experience as soon as its gone and im back to being just fat I will miss it !

its nice not looking in the mirror worrying if what im wearing makes me look pregnant, but i also hate the attention and dumb !!! comments it attracts - its like a rude person magnet some days !

See I've avoided stupid comments by moving to a small village in the middle of nowhere and staying in the house. Ha ha.

twinklie it's worse in a village round here! Everyone seems to have their noses out of their curtains, whereas when we lived in the nearest town no one had any interest in each other.

As for the bump, honestly I don't know how I feel. I am desperate for her to arrive, and counting down the 4 weeks remaining. At the same time though I know that (all being well) this is very likely to be my last baby. Much as I would like another we can't afford more kids, so this will be the last time I go through all of this. I feel mixed emotions about it really.

Good luck for the scan next week minted, and congratulations on 10 years!

It's strange for me because I don't have a bump so apart from all the appointments and the movements and sickness etc theres no indication to people I'm pregnant. So part of me is worried I'm going to walk into somewhere and people will be like where did she get that baby from kind of thing.

I personally can't wait till he's here though, I'm so ready for him now and feel like i could burst. I will miss the kicks and singing to him but won't miss the stress lol x

  • Hi all,

Thought I'd stick to my promise of popping in more often and as my OH has disappeared to the golf range with his friends I have a some time to catch up on rubbish tv and read what you've all been up to on a computer rather then attempting to on my phone :p

I had a consultant appointment today, they were running an hour late and it consisted of her asking me how I was generally, listening to bubs heartbeat and her having a good old prod of my belly only to describe our lil princess as a 'real fidget bum' as she seemed to kick the Dr everywhere she poked :D have another scan next Wednesday so really looking forward to seeing her again!

We've decided on a 'theme' for her nursery and have also picked out colours for all the rooms for the new house for when we move in - I think my better half has had enough of talking decorating hence shooting off with his mates. I had said I would attempt to sort out our room as it resembles a jumble sale atm what with baby bits and stuff for the new house taking over BUT I've decided I want to sit on my bum eating popcorn and lazing instead so here i am! :rotfl:

Has anyone else been taking regular pics of their bumps? I haven't had any nasty comments at all but comments range widely from 'you're really small still' to '3 months to go?! oh my gosh you'll be HUGE!' so have no idea whether I'm big or small but i love love love my bump lol.
