oh i forgot about the 4d scans...lol. i wonder how good they are too. sorry am no help there.

just have some weird feelings under my belly button like someone is pulling somehting under there. eek..

just found out that my cousin who is due next month (in a months times) is being induced right now. eek!! she says they have applied gel on her and have just left her. she has been there since 1230. blimey. she is so annoyed.

Unfortunately induction can be quite long and boring hun. They normally try the pessary etc for 24 hours before they try anything else.

that is weird. she has had baby before and was induced so she should know that no? she said she has just been left alone and no one cares. she said they need to gel her again and if nothing, burst her waters using some drip? sounds eek!

It may just be that she was more progressed when induced last time so things happened quicker hun. I think if your already a little bit dilated or effaced when induced it can make things progress quicker than if your induced when your cervix is closed up x

It is what I had Rups, although I progressed quite quickly and only had the gel once, the plan was to try it twice and then add the drip. Each time they went to the next stage I had already beaten them there, but it can take days it depends on how ready your body is.

My first labour was induced and was 6 hours start to finish my second labour was induced and was 3 hours start to finish. I was expected to take 2/3 days from beginning to end both times so it varies dramatically.

    Evening all!

Congratulations Nbirdy on the birth of your tiny baby - hope they put on weight nicely and you're home in no time at all.

Welcome to the big girl's thread at last 2b - lovely to see you over here! So pleased your scan went well today. xx

MMM hugs for feeling rubbish - I'm getting fed up now too, and comments from MIL and random strangers about my size aren't helping. Why do people think that just because ladies are pregnant that this automatically gives them the right to make rude comments?!!

Got bad tummy ache tonight - don't think that changing to ferrous gluconate has helped over the sulphate - these seem to upset my tummy just as much. :(

Hope I'm not kept awake all night again by the BH. The article I posted to earlier (see number 4) said that they can get quite strong and feel like period pains when labour is near, so at least I know that's what is happening. The way I knew that they weren't the real thing is that they stopped when I walked around, but for a moment there, I thought I was going to have to wake Moon up. They actually woke me up they were that strong.

38 wk midwife appointment tomorrow so will be interesting to hear how engaged Bean now is. My bump is definitely lower as his kicks are getting me about 2 inches below my ribs now instead of in the ribs.

Well I'm off to check FB and see what I've missed as my emails had tonnes of notifications!

Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

  • Just popped on to share this bargain http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/sophie-giraffe-teether-7-99-amazon-1305297. I highly recommend these teethers, and I've never seen them below £10 before so this is a bargain.

Welcome to the newbies :) I wonder if it's going to be as confusing with the two 2b's as it is with twinkle and twinklie?

Congratulations NBirdy, glad you are both doing well!

Rups my induction with my son was quick and he was here within a few hours, yet my friends induction took 4 days, so it can vary massively.

MMM - ignore all the people with their silly comments. I hope you feel happier soon and baby turns up quickly.

sexymouse - good luck for the midwife tomorrow, hopefully baby will be engaged now.
