Just running in to say hi - haven't read up on all the posts from last time I was here - there are pages and pages worth! Just want to say that I hope everyone is well; congrats to any that are enjoying mummy cuddle and welcome to the newbies.

AFM, I am now fed up and have had enough. I know I can't really complain because I have not really suffered in the last trimester, but all I can do now is sit around and eat and I am BORED! I have no ebergy to do anything - I have been into town a couple of times but it leaves me feeling ill and i have to come home and lie down. Have felt 'off' for about three/four days now and have been having random tightness across my tummy along with period type pains (could be early contractions but nothing to get excited about as they are not regular). head feels fuzzy and have had a bit of a blocked nose and pressure behind my eyes too. Called the triage line this morning and they said it all sounds fairly normal, which i what I thought but just wanted some reassurance. I could also have poked out the well meaning neighbours eyes this morning that shouted across to me "Have you not had it yet?" as I got into my car. Er that will be a big fat no then. And the text messages have started today with people asking if bump has arrived. Addded to that are the in-laws who think it is funny to laugh when they see me and say that i could have several more weeks of this yet and that I shouldn't have pudding as my belly is big enough already. Sorry, I know I sound narky and ungrateful but I have struggled to enjoy being pregnant for the most part and now I really want my body back! Sooooo fed up. Anyway, didn't mean to bring the thread down, just needed to let off some steam. Oh is being very good but he just doesn't understand how miserable I really am.

Congrats nbirdy and hello there to 2b!!! Have you had your 12 wk scan yet? Great to see you on here. We need sOme more names from the ttc thread!

Congrats Nbirdy and welcome newbies!

MMM I partly know how you feel. I'm particularly peed off with the DAILY text messages from the same people asking 'any twinges' or 'anything happening' as if I'm going to send out a round robin message to everyone letting them know I'm in labour! No! I will let you know when baby is here so for now, leave me alone!

Had MW this afternoon. 2/5 engaged and begged for early sweep so hopefully getting that on Monday all being well. Fingers crossed baby is here by then though or arrives shortly after the sweep! I am in agony in my pelvis and MW prodded so hard today that I can't walk this evening. Come on baby!

((hugs)). Not long to go now, I guarantee you'll miss your bump when it's gone. It feels strange and empty once baby arrives. Just take it easy and let OH spoil you.

Thanks so much! Yep today - 12+4! :j:j Lovely to be here with lots of familiar names, and wanted to pop my head around the door before some of the ladies I know very well from the TTC thread, give birth!

hugs missmonkeymoo.. i hope you are ok. ignre those texts and comments for now and focus on yourself. if they ask just say you will let them know. people are so keen arent they? lol. get some rest and dont be too hard on yourself. sometimes i wonder whether in laws esp mums have forgoten what it is like to go through the while pregnancy and birth.

came home and had a little nap and didnt want to get up but did to have some food. i had two chicken kievs with some shallow fried courgettes and i am full. thought i would come on and chat and watching greys anatomy. maybe i should go back to bed before dh comes back.

I had my 12 week scan last tuesday was all lovely and saw the little thing moving its arms and legs after I coughed to move it as the sonagrapher couldn't get any measurements.

I have a question for everyone - 4d scans - worth it or not? And when is the best time to get one?

oh i forgot about the 4d scans...lol. i wonder how good they are too. sorry am no help there.

just have some weird feelings under my belly button like someone is pulling somehting under there. eek..

just found out that my cousin who is due next month (in a months times) is being induced right now. eek!! she says they have applied gel on her and have just left her. she has been there since 1230. blimey. she is so annoyed.
