exactly the same thing with me from my DH. i always have to depend on him to drive - when we borrow my mother in laws car. i wish i could drive now so if i want to go places i can. also so handy when after little one arrives no? try and just book it and just get the book or dvd and revise. it wont take you long.Became Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!

Booked for 21 september as it is 1 hours away i booked for the same day i have my 21 weeks scan, i will have the test at 10.00 and my scan at 12 !! Wow.. at least it means i wont have time to think about the scan and time will fly by... Also, being so far away will only have to go to town once. How long have you been having driving lessons for ? and how long do you think it will take you to pass ? Ive started mine in July this year.Mejor morir de pie que vivir toda una vida de rodillas.0

yes that is a good idea. well done for booking it.
i did the same. i had a note for ages and then i just did it! erm i started driving this year too. I started lessons when i turned 17 and then it was start and stop and at uni, i just gave up as didnt have money. so now i have had about lessons and he said i was ready. So I started around May/June time and with lessons on weekends - 1 hour ones. on saturday i have a two hour one to go through manouvres as i find those a pain!

Morocha, I did my theory test a few weeks ago. I downloaded an app called driving test success, and used that to revise. I just spent a couple of evenings doing test questions over and over. I'm more freaking out about my practical test, like you I wanted to try and pass before baby is born (not that we'll probably be able to afford a car), but the waiting list here is huge, and the earliest I could book was 3 days before my due date  Keep looking for cancellations to try and bring it forward, but not been able to far. Don't know what I'll do if I can't bring it forward, as I don't really like the idea of it being so close to my due date, in case I go into labour and can't cancel it in time, then I'd lose over £60 for nothing
Welcome Sarah, hope things go much better for you this time.
Katyliz, glad that your appointment went well, how crazy that the dr would have just let you go though. That's madness.
Ikkle, glad to see your appointment went well too. Your little man sure knows how to give you a fright doesn't he?! Hope you're feeling better soon too.
AFM, I was feeling pretty crap yesterday. Had to get up early for driving lesson, and felt weird from when I got back, just really worn out and no energy, fell asleep about 2.30 and accidentally had about a 3hr napThen from when I woke up I just felt sick. Had to get up about 7.30 this morning to try and sort out electrics (all sockets had gone off), went back to bed again and didn't get up til nearly 1.30pm  Don't know what's wrong with me lately, I feel like such a flake

That's a pain about the date for your test snowbean, but I suppose it gives you something else to concentrate on rather than just worrying about labour. Good luck for it.
I'm constantly exhausted and feeling like I have no energy. I just try and rest and hope it'll pass. I even fell asleep at my laptop doing an online survey this afternoon! It's typical of this stage of pregnancy though (I'm 35+6), I can remember feeling like this with my kids too. Are you nearing due date yet?Cross Stitch Cafe member no.800 -
KatyLiz, sorry your appointment was a bit pants, it's terrible when they don't take the time out to read your notes properly. Glad little lady is doing well size wise thoughYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
xx Mama to a gorgeous Cranio Baby xx

Yeah, I'm 35+5. I guess it probably is normal, and I have had a cold, but I've just felt pants the last couple of days. Keep meaning to do things, tidy up, sort stuff out, make dinner etc, and then I just sit here!
Probs best go and have a shower though, as have another driving lesson at 6, don't want her to be thinking I'm a tramp!
Rups, did you say your test is on Wednesday? Good luck for it. I really don't think I'll be leaving mine so close to my due date, if I'm not able to bring it forward then I think I'll have to move it back, not sure I want to risk wasting the money if I end up not being able to cancel it in time?0 -
