thanks girls but i am still confused as to what i have now because i get bubble type flutters at times and then those pulses which i am classifying as kicks. when i feel those, ilook at my belly and can see it move. so i am assuming kicks? i felt a few of those pulse type or kicks in the morning after i had eaten so i dont know whether they were kicks or something else.

ikkle you are right. iget bored very easily at home. i think its a break i need and sleep and then back to work. will need to make sure can get out and about as i start getting depressed after a while being all alone. lol

Your baby does more than just kick lol, they punch, roll over, grasp the cord, stretch their legs, wiggle their toes (as we got to see yesterday) and loads more. Which is why I said it's impossible for you to determine what sensation is what at the moment. As you get further along and your baby gets bigger to the point you can tell which way they are laid, ie breech head down etc you will be able to know for definite that the feeling in your ribs is a foot so the feelings around your belly button are hands etc and so on. If you were to go to hospital for reduced movements they wouldn't differentiate between the flutters or the pulsations, they would both be classed as movements. It doesn't matter what type of movement you get as long as you get movements.
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Rups, hope you havent missed out

Going to visit a relative of DH's this afternoon. She's got lots of hand-me-downs for us to collect and needs them gone asap as she's running out of space. No idea what there is but Im really looking forward to finding out :T. Also found out my cousin is pregnant. Not planned and she is still living at home with her parents, and both her and OH are jobless so not ideal. She's very excited though and at least my babies will have playmates. Its weird, Im the first to have a baby in our family for 24 years and now there's 3 on the way!

Hi ! Yes it is normal to have BH in the second trimester. My midwife is not concern, i hve been having them for 2 weeks now, i think when is your second child you are more in tune with your body and do not panic. i am quite relax now.
Does anybody feels like food is the last thing on the list ? I am not hungry, but i know i have to eat, my body feels tired and my mood goes down but i do not feel like eating.
I started to think i could see a bump yesterday, asked DH this morning and he said, put your t shirt up cant see anything! i was like, well you should ! He replied, let me see your side and i tell you, again nothing.. i threw pillow at him saying, i am 5 months pregnant, no wonder i dont get the pregnancy treatment yet !... lol

I will push myself to have my driving theoric test in two weeks, i am just so lazy.

I've had my consultant appointment and growth scan. Baby is growing well still and I'm happy now as they've guessed she's 5lb 6oz at the moment, which is only 3 oz off my daughter's birth weight, so I feel like that's a weight I can be happy with :)

I saw a young, possibly trainee doctor afterwards for my appointment as the consultant was busy. She walked in and told me everything was fine and unless I had any worries all she needed to do was sign my notes and I'd only see them again if nothing has happened after my due date. I then pointed out to her that the sonographer had said the fluid around the baby was lower in my scan. I asked her if this was a worry, she said no but as I'd pointed it out she'll check it with her senior.

After 15 minutes sat in the room waiting she returned. The registrar told her I have to keep coming for CTGs twice a week because of the fluid, still keep an eye on movements and see them again in 2 weeks. They also need to make sure an echo is done on my heart so they can double check everything is still ok with me before I go into labour and sort out the plans for the early epidural. Due to all that I need to be induced at full term.

I couldn't believe she would just have sent me on my way home without any appointments! I also asked her a question at the very end about the epidural and she told me to talk to whoever I see next time as she knows nothing at all about epidurals! How can a doctor in an obstetrics clinic not know anything about them?!

I'm quite happy with the overall outcome, but just shocked at how little doctors can know!
