yay elisabeth for your scan! its such a lovely feeling isnt it? i was anxious but once i saw bubba i am much calmer now. i still wish i could get another scan to just have a peek at him/her but the next time will be when they are born! yay! :)

i need to get the hubby more involved in buying stuff with me. he is way too chilled out and i know at the last minute, he will panic and stress me out!! lol

i started a fund too but forgot to add more money to it. lol so better go and do that tonight. i think i found an aqua class so will ring and confirm and can go next week! yay! i just need some energy to sort stuff out and clean and stuff but dont have it so will go with the flow rather than getting stressed. having a yuck day today where feel slightly stressed/grumpy but i am sure it will pass. :) well done though for getting stuff started xx

  • My boss gets on my nerves at lunch time... he always eyes up my food in a way that if we were Lions I would have to walk of with my catch because at any moment he could pounce in and take it from me lol... OMG....I'm 5th!!! I knew I'd be 5th tomorrow just by people moving onto the too knackered list. But somehow it happening today has freaked me out something chronic!!! I can't wait to meet him, but I'm also not ready yet. Ha ha.

My NCT sleep nursing bras came today - they look very comfortable and I'm pretty pleased with them. They were only £10 each so I can't complain.

    Afternoon ladies :)

DH and I are going looking for new cars on Sunday :j We've sorted out a loan with a really good interest rate, should have the money next week :D

Anyone know the best way of working out what you're likely to get in part exchange for an old car? I've looked at a few things online and got widely varying answers - £220 to £1200! Car is a Y reg Focus, 3 doors, 1.8 Zetec, 118k miles. Good runner, in reasonable cosmetic condition for it's age.

It's ok Rups, I keep forgetting I'm that close too. Just mentioned this to my DH and he keeps saying, "Honey, you are due on MONDAY!". It's going to happen....deal with it. Ha ha.

It's not like I don't want to meet him, it's just that I keep forgetting it's going to happen so soon. I'm oddly starting to look forward to it. I'm just starting to realise though that I'm responsible for this little rugrat forever more. I'm going to be a MUMMY! How odd? How has this never occurred to me before?

  • Hi ladies

Currently trying to complete my thesis (hate, hate, hate it) so have been reading my email digests to try and keep up with you all.

Congrats to everyone who have had their babies and good luck and many labour vibes to the boldies. Hope everyone's good and my best wishes to all who'd like/need them.

Little man is now 26+2 and I can't believe I'm now in the 50s - I'm sure I was 80 when I last had a good read of the forum.

Have GTT on Friday (boo :() and hate needles so not looking forward to it.

Had first ante-natal class on Sat (was a bit shocked to see my lovely GP sat opposite and a month ahead of us), class no. 2 tomorrow night and really looking forward to it.
Hubby is sat next to me writing the draft birth plan for tomorrow's session as I do boring writing on soil magnetism and heavy metals :wall: The class was brilliant and so well run. Glad I've paid the extra for them.

Saw that you had better sleep after getting the long pillow, Rups, so got hubby to pick one up for me this morning - not sure if their till was wrong - reserved it at £20 and paid £10 for it! Hoping to have better sleep tonight.

Anyway, I'd better get on or the writing will never get done. Will make more of an effort to log in after I've submitted my work.

    'Til soon

    MLB :)
