KatyLiz - I started drinking the RLT this week and got them from Holland and Barrett and it's actually really nice, just like any normal fruit tea. Although I have read that the capsules might be more effective but as I've bought a large box I'll stick to the tea for now.
I'm willing to try anything that might make labour a bit better!Team pink due 5th Oct '12 :T0 -

I think you can start taking it from 32 weeks but I waited until 35 weeks just to be on the safe side, I've heard it can help shorten the pushing stage. Google says; "Raspberry leaf tea is thought to tone the muscles of your uterus (womb) to help it work better during labour"Team pink due 5th Oct '12 :T0 -
oh wow...learnt somethig new today :0)Became Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!

Yeah Google can be dangerous as it just makes you panic about everything! And I must stop looking up birth stories - it's not going to do me any good!
Rups - I think it's 10 movements per day but not sure from what week that is.Team pink due 5th Oct '12 :T0 -
i think i saw somehtig in my notes. will check when get home. yes i was notorious for checking google at EVERYTHING esp before my first loss. it didnt do me any good at all so now i am much calmer and refrain from checking. lol. the only thing i read online is those nhs alerts when they tell you how the baby and your body is doing week by week.Became Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!

Morning all (or should that be afternoon now?!) Hope everyone is having a good day?
I had such an amazing day yesterday. we had our 20 week scan yesterday morning...was nervous..but no need to be! everything fine and baby is growing as it should be. the sonographer took the time to show us all the parts of the baby, and explained about the cord -mine is high up apparently which is good.
When we left the hospiatl i was on cloud 9! i wated to post on here straight away...but we went shopping for baby and house things instead!
We spent ages in Mothercare and babies r us looking at pushchairs/travel systems. My DH got them off the stands and was folding them up and pushing them around (checking for stability apparently!). I tried pushing a couple, but it just felt so weird. I don't think its fully sunk in that I'm a proper grown up now (i'm 33) and going to have a baby!!!! I just cannot picture myself with a pushchair (or baby for that matter)...does anyone else feel like this?
The house sort is going well...although i'm so tired all the time - rups i have been tired the whole pregnancy too!
Have managed to start the baby fund (exchanged some left over euros we had) and have already sold a couple of items on ebay for more than i thought i would!
I c an't remember who it was a while ago that put a list up of items they had bought, and how much they should of paid and what they actually paid..but i'm stealing your idea! I have been searching on ebay for local pick up items and have found the mamas and papas star-lite swing for £10!!! I can't believe what bargains i could find-its almost like a game now...!
I was going to go to my first aquanatal class on monday, but the loft and baby (junk) room took all my attention. I'm definately going to go next week though.
anyway, once again my post has turned into an essay...sorry.
me x0
