Ok just realised you all moved house without me ... lol

    Carpet in nursery now: https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...7345573&type=1

No cot yet due to the basket in our room and the nursing chair needs to come up and be erected still.

    new thread :j thanks emsbet

    welcome to the newbies

re gyms - we got this one. Tiny Love make lovely things and not as pricey as Fisher Price. We also have their bouncer. Haven't started using them yet but they look and feel lovely.

re crossing legs - my physio said you can ONLY cross your ANKLES. It's do do with joints and that to avoid back pain in later pregnancy it's important to put equal pressure/weight on both buttocks. She also said to avoid standing on one leg for the same reason - too much pressure applied to joints on one side. So if you're putting socks on it's better to sit down. I followed these rules from wk 16 when I found out about them and have had no back problems so far. And my EDD is TOMORROW!

My physio also said not to slouch and always sit up straight, preferably with a pillow behind your back. This is to prevent babies going back to back. Again, followed the rules and my LO has been in the correct position for weeks now. May be pure luck but who knows?

Rebekah - I was looking at acupressure to induce labour and found this. Among others there is advice for turning breech babies. No idea if it's any use but thought you may want to have a look.

I am going in but I will talk to the consultant and see what he says. If he says its likely to be the same pain I don't think I'll do it. See how tummy feels in morning. I'm so messed up big time but I think the section is looking more likely in either outcome. Terrified!

    Taking a peep. Thank you.

I'm so nervous i've only eaten half my tea. Barely ate much yesterday either.
  • I'm in alot of pain with the M.E anyway and my midwife said that my Tramadol is safe to take but alot of things on the internet say otherwise and I don't want to put baby at risk. The pain with the M.E is so severe though that I can't manage it without meds.

My GP wasn't keen on me continuing tramadol either, but we compromised that I would take them Occasionally when 'life or death' I'm not sure really how safe, GP was worried as its obviously very strong. Maybe danger of bubba being addicted. My pharmacist did say there's got to be a balance and he's seen it been used before with no illl effects. They also stopped gabapentin as its not licenced for pregnancy. I'm really struggling though hun. Maybe discuss with your consultant tomorrow?

Thanks Emsbet :) I'd not really noticed lol. The official EDD from the hospital was a day different from the first private scan.

RJH glad you're feeling better today.

Watching a programme on shoplifting, OH thought it looked interesting. One lady 'stole' one potato from M&S costing 50p. OH was saying was she that desperate? I'm thinking one potato costs 50p! Could get a whole sack for a quid lol.

    Goodnight all xxx

Yes it hurts to bend over. And my skin is still red like it's been grazed. And have a few small black bruises by my pubic region from pushing her up and out. Insides feel battered. Yesterday it was agony and I couldn't move without yelping today its just very sore and less agony.
