Yep, I'm 25, I did have to google the lyrics though as that's never been my kind of music.

I hope you manage to find a middle name for bubs soon, our lil boy's middle name was decided from day dot. as it's my grandads, OH's and brothers name and also my other brothers middle name.

Shall I freak you out a bit lol........ don't know if this will weird you out but I always think of it as slightly strange but cool lol.

If your baby is a boy, then technically your growing a penis inside you. Just don't turn round to your son in 20 years and say 'Son I've had your penis inside me' - that's a bit odd.

If your baby is a girl, then her ovaries are already holding millions of itty bitty eggs so your also technically carrying what will eventually evolve into your grandchildren!

  • Shery - I think you're doing well if it's 2 stone - I made the huge mistake of getting on some scales when out last friday (35 weeks) and I've put on 2stone 8lbs!!! I was hoping to keep to that weight for the due date so I was a little shocked .... could have something to do with my daily obsession with magnum ice creams though! :rotfl:

It's not overly girly Rups, it's quite neutral, and what if you do have a boy? It's you or the pushchair thats going to carry the bag not the baby. My little boy has a pink shirt bought purely because it matches one his daddy has. Before WWII blue was a girls colour and pink was for boys anyway.

I don't really understand the whole gender stereotypes, I mean sure I'm not gonna dress my little boy in a bright pink sparkly dress but I was brought up on ghostbusters and toy cars and it never did me any harm.........

Snap ikkle - I used to love transformers and thomas the tank engine and postman pat when I was little and had a toy garage. It's one thing that really gets me going is the way society enforces these stereotypes - particularly in baby clothing where in some shops the only colour babygrows for girls are pink and blue for boys!
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.
