My belly button popped today! 39+3! It was a special time when I noticed this morning.

yes ikkle i will tell him that. right now i am a bit upset. its so weird because i didnt expect him to get this childish and throw that in my face, esp as i had told him that when i was growing up, my dad did that to my mum and used to demand receipts for everything as she was totally dependent on him. the thought scares me now. i think i will go back even if part time. that way i dont have to justify anything. this made me feel so crap. sorry guys.

Rups - my dh makes 'jokes' like that too sometimes. In serious mode he has a lot of respect for my achievements and work ethic but that goes out of the window when he thinks he's being funny. Also, If we're honest, in terms of our lifestyle my salary is pretty much peanuts and I do think that if I'm just working to prove a point why bother?!

i see your point zcrat but also i am now scared of losing this independence. yes my job isnt as good as his but i still get paid and i have money. i wouldnt have minded being dependent on him but if i am going to get told that he is doing me a favour, then i dont want to. my mum had to go through that and i saw the hurt on her face. i dont want that. imagine if i felt like a pedicure (and i would choose a cheap one) i dont want to be asked why i did it etc? it scares me now and its not funny at all! i am still upset at him. i would rather work part time. now i understand why some of my friends went back to work.

My OH goes to work so I can be a mother, just as I stay with the kids so he can escape to work each day

men are just dumb sometimes, I dont think they think things through!


Im having another night of BH, some are getting pretty uncomfortable now - hoping my body is gearing up for labour and not just trying to pee me off :cool: Ive felt rough for couple of days now, achy, headaches, light headed, my joints hurt - my body really has had enough of being pregnant now!

sorry to hear that mishka. hope your little one arrives soon and you are not in pain. i am suffering from a bit of back pain and i cant even imagine what you all are going through esp as so near your times.

i do understand when men go to work so we can stay at home but dont make a deal about it and say it like you are doing us a favour you know? lol. we can also turn it round and say we are doing them a favour by giving them a child! stupid men are dumb indeed.

Please tell me someone anyone has heart burn too, i`m eating rennies by the bucket load (theres no limit on them is there?)

It doesnt seem to matter what i eat/drink or at what time it just burns lol.

try milk too lozzy. hopefully that should help (hoping you can have milk). i try and have a glass everyday.

hmm think me and dh are going through a rough patch after this weekend. he is annoying me.

Rups it sounds to me like your DH maybe a bit jealous of you getting to not work, and maybe will feel a huge weight on his shoulders when his wage is the only one coming in, and like a typical bloke will make referance about it to everyone else but you!

you mean he will tell everyone he is providing for us? hmm i dont know. when he gets childish and mean he can say really silly and hurtful stuff. jealous of what though? i hardly earn the same money as him and he should be happy i am working. lol i dont get it.

i think the way he also felt me being clingy over the weekend has got to him, so he is still annoyed about that. gosh let it go. thought we were the ones that held grudges? lol
