Hi all,

Well we are finally home, arrived home yesterday afternoon. Yay!! So far all is well although we have to keep an eye on her jaundice levels she seems to get more alert each day.

My OH has read it to see if it is actually accurate or whether my brain has changed what really happened. I remember thinking on my way to the postnatal ward how sad it is that she will be brought up like an only child because I am not doing that again. Already my brain has started to think, was it really that bad, maybe she will have siblings. OH was not impressed and has threatened to nail a condom on himself

You have all been so busy, I would love to say that I will catch up but clearly that is never going to happen. Will join the facebook group and wait to see you all on there. Will lurk as and when I have the time. But thank you all so much for being there for me you have made this whole experience so much easier.

Although if you do still decide to do a Croydon/London meet up before hand, I am so there, I can almost walk normally again

many months ago i clicked on this thread by accident and came across yours and Emsbets story and despite not being pregnant I have lurked in the background and kept reading about you both and it has brought a tear to my eye reading that you have a baby and I just wanted to say congratulations to you and your OH....i will now go back to lurking sorry for intruding

Morning all!

Had periody type pains all last night - they even got into my dreams, and I was quite worried when I got up to the loo as I'd also dreamt that my waters had broken (they haven't). I'm wondering if they're Braxton Hicks as I've upped the Raspberry Leaf Tea (had 4 cups instead of 3 accidentally yesterday as I couldn't remember if I'd had 2 or 3 already lol - I'm now tallying them each day so this doesn't happen again).

Hope everyone is well - labour vibes where appropriate.

Rups, your hubby sounds like he can be quite a pain in the bum! I think you should have a word later to tell him how much he upset you, now he's hopefully calmed down?

AFM, still not sleeping well, woke up many many times in the night.
not sure why, as the reflux is settling down now, no coughing until this morning. DH annoyed me though, he was tutting at me while I was having a coughing fit as I was disturbing his last 10 mins in bed. I felt very Kitty Bennett about it "I don't cough for my own amusement, Mama!" :rotfl:

Hope you've managed to sort things out with your hubby Rups. He does sound like he needs a good talking to sometimes, he shouldn't upset you so much and make you stressed.

Kitten - so glad you're home and things are going well Thanks for writing the birth story, it was lovely to read.

Loads of people seem to be feeling pains lately. Hope something starts for you soon sexymouse. I'd love to try anything to get baby moving soon, but I can't face the RLT. All hot drinks make me feel sick.

Lol Little Moog! Pride and Prejudice was my favourite book as a teenager It's made me want to load it up on my ereader.

I'm feeling a lot better today, and I can actually walk nearly normally, yay! So we'll be off out to the forest soon to enjoy the last day of the holidays. I'm looking forward to stopping in the cafe for lunch and getting a huge slice of cake too

KatyLiz I'm sure it'd work if you had RLT as an iced tea too if you can't face it hot, or you can buy it in tablet form instead.

Thanks littlemoog, i was quite angry yesterday so ended up fuming as i was online and then sent him a nasty email (easier than talking as his flips everytime i mention something and then get upset). cant even remember what i put in it but i know i told him to stop being silly and let go of things etc etc. he is a pain though. we went to bed OK (Ok I have a confession to make) I know i was told not to but i bought a doppler and it came yesterday. Promise i am fine!! lol. and not as anxious as used to be (you guys know that). lol. so he helped me with it (even though he was moaning he was tired) and we heard the little bubbas heartbeat. then we went to bed and i couldnt sleep. i just tossed and turned and went to the loo twice and now i am shattered.

This morning he rushed me to the bus stop so i got mad with him again and in my email from work, i told him he has to be careful how he says things to me, as he is very harsh and cruel. lets hope he takes it on board. annoying man! Lol.

sorry am talking too much. need a tea to wake me up. hope you feel better littlemoog. i say the same to DH when i am coughing. its not like we want to do it. lol
