I refused to do anything which involved parting my knees with the last 2. I cannot stand the elastic belts.. they burn and roll up and are so incredibly uncomfy I can't see how something tied around your tummy is going to have any effect on the hips below the belt other than to put extra pressure on the back of the pelvis and make the pain worse. I can wear mine for about 10 minutes before I want to kill it and take it off.

And I hate the fact my loo is upstairs!!!!!!!!!! I might join Squeak in using the potty!

Hiya, aw clare them boys sound a nightmare, bet yr glad this week's over! Ouch SPD is sounding pretty scary to me now and i'm desperately hoping my pains in my joint and now some back ache are just normal pregnancy things.
Blokes are annoying aren't they, my OH goes out for 'pool' every thursday and lastnight got in about half 12, he stank so bad of drink and fags i made him sleep on the couch! I haven't been sleeping too well lately so off he trotted!
I got a chair like the ikea one from Home Bargains for about the same price if anyone isn't close to an Ikea.
On a light note-what changing bag are people getting? Had planned to get a babystyle oyster one to go with my pram but have now had my head turned by Pink Lining ones...eeek

    Hi Penny!!

Wow 5 months already?? How is motherhood treating you? It must be lovely to finally have a little someone in that beautiful nursery of yours :)

I'm only 21 weeks, so still a way to go. baby is due August 22nd. We have our 22 week scan next week so can get confirmation on the flavour. From 2 scans I've had already they think it's a girl, which I am obviously chuffed about. Another boy would be awesome too of course!

How am I going to get to heaven?,
When I'm just balanced so precariously..

Helen I had period pains last week and my bump felt really solid but that was all I had get the odd twinge now and then but that's all. 5 weeks and 6 days to go!!!! Not that im counting! Back has been a bit better. Went to a fitness class today which is just mostly walking with buggies so didn't strain myself too much. Although it chucked it down and

Toddler is in a bit of a strop and keeps trying to get me to pick him up but he's just too heavy to heft around being this fat and pregnant!

Not at all bad Helen, I'm actually a little bit hopeful that the baby will come soon, and be fine obviously, but have them keep me an baby in for a couple of days so I can put my feet up or a little bit. Which is saying quite a lot coming from me as I'm not a fan of hospitals. I'm just starting to get to the end of my tether a bit.
