morning all.. happy due date mlbarett. hope you are ok.. i feel just as rank as you. :(

so sorry to hear about the ladies who are having a rubbish day. :( hugs for you all and hope something happens for you all.

thanks for the insight on the body issue marta. i think my dh would be ok as long as he can see i am confident with myself and because iam not, and i complain about this and that, then he can see those marks etc too.. when i met him, i already had stretch marks as me and my family are blessed with them. he never said anything at all. now when my belly has tonnes and i noticed them, so did he but i am sure he is ok. sure they are visual but once they get going down to business they dont care i think.. after bubbs got to work on the body confidence. :) and then head to ann summers to buy some sexy stuff. hehe, cant wait..

feel totally yuck today. had a runny nose overnight and couldnt breathe properly. i got so mad when i didnt realise that dh had cheekily opened a window at night as he was boiling and when i went to the loo and came back i saw him shutting it. i shouted at him as i actually felt cold and said no wonder i have a cold. :( silly man.. just have this stupid sore throat and now a headache. was glad my package isnt scheduled till 3 so i stayed in bed as long as i could after dh went wth fewer loo breaks but still feel yuck. :( the dishes are still in the sink and i still have to do the xmas tree. dh does nothing nowadays i swear...he came from work, we argued as he got moody with me. then he went for kung fu. oh he ate somehting before then and then left stuff in the sink. he said he would come and wash up.. but as i was cooking myself dinner i washed up but my dishes were there. did he wash up? nope!!

he is not helping with any xmassy stuff.. me to do the tree, me to wrap presents, me to write cards, me to wash up. today i am just sitting and annoyed at him as i am feeling sorry for myself now.. just feel yuck.. sorry girls..:(

last night i was listening to bubs heart beat and i think bubs may have turned around and head is at top.. i could be wrong but the heart beat was way high up.. tomorrow i seethe midwife, so lets see what she says. today i also woke up feeling, that my bubbs might be late..sigh.. shall i go back to sleep?lol

No fair that you get to see midwife before me Rups! My appointments are always on Friday's.

Glad we've got some progress going on... but come on ladies... chin up! Think too many of us are being grumps and I don't like it.

mine used to be on fridays but they swapped them round as well..

not having a good day i am afraid. i will log off here to refrain from moaning. DH is telling me to snap out of it and toughen up as things will only get harder when the baby is here. surely iam allowed to feel sorry for myself right?

i want to sit and do nothing now to prove a point. he is annoying me. he said he did lots of house work at the weekend, which he did but during the week it piles up too so is that all my responsibilty? he is such a cave man at times. grrr

  • Hi ladies,

Just thought I'd pop in quickly and say congrats to new mummies :j and good luck to those very close - labour vibes to you!

I'm now 24+3 and we haven't got anything yet for bubs  Friends have said they'll give us stuff but gave no indication of when and what, and I feel cheeky asking! Would be helpful to know before hitting the shops!

Aside from a low lying placenta & some cramps (hoping its just stretching) everything is going ok which I'm so grateful for just getting this far is a blessing :)

Going to have a read back, Big hugs to everyone feeling glum :grouphug:
  • Been lurking for the last few days...but just wanted to say to all the glum ladies today to breatheeeee and smile!! Happy thoughts! Very soon we will all have a little baby who will light up our lives! Ignore the fellas and think about that! :):):):):) hope this helps! Back to lurking! Xx

2ba3c I just love seeing names from TTC thread here. I would love to read more about you 2ba3c. How are you? Is everything alright? Do you like being pregnant?

:o Thanks Aida, that's very sweet of you! I'm doing OK! Currently 26+2 and have a feeling the next few weeks over Christmas are going to fly by! I really hope so, the first 20 odd weeks went quite slowly for me. I think once I hit 30 weeks, I'll start to panic about things (labour, not having the house ready etc etc...)

I *love* being pregnant and I am so, so so excited to meet our little girl (hurry up March!), but it hasn't come without a whole set of health challenges for me. *sigh*

I think ONE of the most difficult things is not having a set date, the organisational side of my brain needs that (even having an EDD doesn't work, I want something in writing!!)

Congrats on getting your c-section booked in, at least you know when you will be meeting little one, soooo exciting!! :D

I am researching spa days, I definitely feel like body needs a pamper session! I keep seeing women who like you 37 weeks + and thinking 'I cannot possibly get any bigger!' :D:D

    xx

2ba3c i totally agree with you about a set date.. that is my fear as i have no idea so keep thinking about how will end up at the hosp.. think and think about different things. will dh be around and near? what will happen? i suppose just got to leave that and go with the flow. hard though hey? hope you are ok though. glad you are enjoying the preg.:) i am too finally after the 20 week scan as passed through an anxious time so am enjoying the movements, and speaking to bubba through belly... little thing will be with us soon.. dont know when though?

Generally I am lurker but I had a scary experience today. I slipped up on ice on my neighbours path this morning and went flying. I really hurt my knees and hands and half landed on my side. I went to the clinic to get checked out and heard the babys heartbeat and have felt it moving but it was scary for a moment. Please everyone be careful out there.
