Arrghh I have been rated down from a 4 star to a 3 star and I am not very happy!

I have written 52 articles since I started and 45 of those articles have been rated by textbroker as 4 star. I have a few 3 star articles where I have fallen foul to textbrokers obsession with commas which happen to have fallen in the last 5 articles which they base the ratings on.

I also have a 2 star article within the ratings as a client asked for keywords to be put into sentences which were all grammatically incorrect.

I have emailed textbroker about this but just wondered if anyone has had any luck in getting their ratings changed?

    How frustrating Fifi :-(

I didn't notice the "connecting word list" at first. That is very useful in working some odd keywords into the article.

    Thanks Kraft

It has actually been resolved now, they have re rated the article to neutral as they said it was unfair to rate it based on the clients grammatically incorrect keyword requests.

So its worth raising things with them as ratings do get changed.

    Oh that is great news!

Alas, I didn't have such success with TB. They said I should have taken a clue from the keywords!

I just don't have time to write a completely different article within the deadline. The email about the revision was sent at 10pm last night and as I was out all morning, I didn't check my email till I got home this afternoon. If it had been a small revision, fine, but this is a complete rewrite. I'm too slow. I like to research and make notes, and think and draft and re-read...

I guess I'll just have to pull out.

Just submitted another sample text which I am sure is all good, so fingers crossed it will get at least some stars. If not, I give up!

Has anyone picked up the PPI articles on Textbroker today? The client's instructions are incredibly vague and I can't work out what they want me to write.

    Anyone got any ideas?

I saw that one but thought it was far too vague :-)

I'm beginning to regret taking it myself but I think I'll have a go at doing it if I can. Do you think it's worth emailing and asking for more details of what they actually want?

I've done one of those before, have you checked the client data to see their refusal/revision rate?

I think this one may just need something quite basic, and as long as you stick to the subject I think you'll be fine.

I wondered if English was a first language?

    I agree with Ruby though.

Does anyone have any advice on what to do if the client requests a complete rewrite of the article on the basis that their original instructions stated something substantially different from what they are now saying they want?

Copy and paste the original and new instructions side by side, and mail them to the client, pointing out how different they are.
