I know they'll be under Direct Orders in the assignment part of the site, but do you also get an email? I don't want to keep checking the site for them if you're made aware another way.

Yep, I received an email along the lines of "Congratulations you've received a direct order".

There does seem to be a lot of work around at the moment, long may it continue. :)

this sounds disappointing, much work for little pay ....and you can get frustrated with the often poor customer support, into the bargain

Personally I actually find research and writing to articles fun and it's keeping my brain in shape until I go back to college. I don't think it pays badly either - it certainly pays better than some surveys I've done.

Loads of 3* jobs at the moment, although may be fairly specialist?! (Not sure if I should mention topics on here?)

I have noticed these too. Can't say it's my area of expertise, but that's why we're writers - imagination!

Hi all, signed up a few days ago and submitted my test piece. I know everyone's is different, but how long does it usually take for you to hear back? Thanks

They sent out an email yesterday, I think, saying they'd been deluged lol...so it could take longer than usual to process applications. :)

They probably got deluged because TB was mentioned in an e-mail that went out from MSE ....
