Okay, you gto me three ....

    (Hangs head in grammer shame...)

Glad you have a sense of humour about it :)

The first rule of grammar correction is to never correct anybody's grammar as the spotlight will then turn upon you.

I can forgive you the typo on "virttually" but not the spelling mistake on "grammer" :p

I don't know what on earth Textbroker have done to the site but having problems with it all weekend. Submitted an article this morning but it came up with an error message telling me the html was wrong (it looked fine to me) and wouldn't let me submit it unless I accepted its 'corrected' version, which was actually wrong. Frustrating as I had to accept the 'correct' version, so no doubt I'll get that article back to change it when I had it right in the first place! Argh.

Have you not seen this on the homepage?

"If you experience difficulty submitting your work, please try clearing your cache and cookies and trying again. Due to the updates made recently, you may have to do this before you will be able to submit your work."

I think that message has only been there for about a week. Probably why you were having problems.

Ah, thanks, no I hadn't seen the message - didn't get any further than the other message they have up saying there's something wrong with the payments system so money will be going through on Monday :p

    Can anyone help.

I'm trying to complete my profile in tb but, in the travel section, can't work out how you add places you have visited - I've tried putting them in the search box but nothing comes up for most of them e.g. Las Vegas.

Las Vegas works for me. Type it in, and wait ......

Either that or clear your cache and cookies as mentioned above?

I have been lurking for a while and have finally decided to take the plunge and register with textbroker. I retired young and want to develop my writing skills. Having followed the threads and done some internet research I have decided this is the best place to start. Can somebody please advise me on the best approach to the expertise choices in the registration procedure? Does expertise mean a certain level of previous experience in writing on the topic or is it to be interpreted as 'I think I could write about that'?

Definitely "I think I could write about that". You can pick any of the articles at your rating level and below. I've been really enjoying some of them. Who would have thought researching ostriches could be fun?!
