Textbroker - Writing for money (not vouchers)

Another email in the inbox and I was prepared to swear a lot, but it's been accepted now. And breathe....
Now I wait for 3 more to be accepted, hopefully, and then sit it out till they do my 5 article review.0 -
Its irritating isn't it. I didn't plagiarise, there are only so many ways you can say "provide your name, address, telephone number and email"...lol!0

Yes, I know. All you can do is jumble it up a bit. I was getting a tad frustrated sitting there going 'but HOW can I change that - it's a list!'. Anyway, job done, and by the sounds of it I can expect a wait of at least a week for any more, so I can take a chill pill while I sit it out!
Interesting to see lots of wannabee authors on here though. You can add me to the list!0 -
I'm really enjoying textbroker - it's never going to make me rich, but it's good to get paid for writing (it's giving me the inspiration to finally start some freelance writing on a wider scale).
I was rated as 4* on registration and have had my first 9 articles accepted. The first 5 were rated 4* and if the next 5 get rated the same (they have been well received by the clients) I can apply for a 5* rating and access the higher paying work.
I much prefer it to clickworker; I find the Groupon assignments incredibly tedious whereas textbroker at least feels like 'real' writing.0 -
HI all, I'm back in the land of the living after my move and should be ready to write again tomorrow, how has everyone one been getting on??0

Has anyone been upgraded from a 3* to a 4* on Textbroker? I'm just wondering if you have to have all 5 of your most recent articles rated as 4* to be upgraded, or if they round up the overall score?
For example, my last 5 articles were rated 3, 3, 3, 4, 4 - so my average is 3.4, which they "round down" to 3*. But say my next 5 are 3, 3, 4, 4, 4 - the average would be 3.6. Would that still be rounded down to 3* or do they round up?
I'm guessing down still. If a client is expecting a 4* article, they are going to want writers who are at least 4* or more aren't they, not "approaching 4* so we rounded her up"...
Sorry - entire conversation by myself there. That's what happens after 7.30pm in this house...0 -

I have been upgraded from 3 to 4, but all of my articles received a 4. I was trying to find out about the ratings earlier but I couldn't see anything in the FAQ about how it all works.0 -
Thanks for replying Katini - will have to wait and see what happens, i've done another 5 now, so hope to find out in a week or so!0

You are on fire! I've not seen anything on there since I have been back from MIL's so need to get refreshing the page more often! I have applied for the sales team though so hope I'll get on that. Still plodding through Groupon tasks on Clickworker but having been such a big fan of them to start with I am now bored stiff!!0 -
I've done four but struggling to find more 3* jobs. It's frustrating, I'm refreshing constantly on my phone but sounds like I missed some today while I gave my little girl lunch! I quite like the challenge of shoehorning fairly random phrases into seemingly unrelated articles though. And a thesaurus is your best friend!0
