I'll pm you a the writing forum I go on hun.
  • I got rated a few months ago as a 3 but there never seem to be any articles for that rating, so I've given up for now with that site. I guess I ought to start checking again.

    Debt-free and Proud!
There are some 2* articles just gone up
  • Thanks for that - managed to grab one on Business gas comparison, now written and sent....phew!
  • Flippin' 'eck! Just asked to revise the article because there was a line that was "almost identical" to something elsewhere on the net. The line was about what details you would be asked to provide and I listed name/address/email/tel no etc. How the heck is that plagerism? its a list of contact details!!

I think it's the software they use. Can you just revise the order of the info?

It's probably an automatic flagging system, if it's the same words in the same order it most likely can't discern between say a descriptive sentence and a set of contact details.
    1. Save money.
    2. Worry you haven't saved enough.
    3. ????
    4. Travel.
    £3,000/8,000ish.
  • I've re-written it, changing the order a bit and making it more of a sentence and less of a list, but it wasn't even identical to the list they quoted, the words were already in a different order in each list, and the descriptive wording at the beginning of the sentence was quite different, although with a few words that were the same (such as expect, provide and details).

Am guessing it must have been an automatic response as it was so quick.

I've had that today twice on the same article. Again, it's a list, and it's relevant information. My finger is hovering over the cancel process button as for the sake of 3 or 4 quid I'm wondering if the amount of effort I'm putting into these articles is actually worth it.

OK, second revision sent in and a couple of other lists that appear later on jiggled about a bit. If it comes back again, I'll cancel and someone else can have a try. :)
