    Thank you for stopping by!

I accidentally OP'd £500 while doing our TSB-shuffle :rotfl: It's slightly more than I was planning to OP this month, however with interest being daily we'll get the benefit of it. I could have accidentally sent it somewhere worse I'm sure!

I need to open a 123 account. I looked at them a while ago and made a mental note to research some more. They seem a no brainer so I just need to make some time to do the application and probably sort out the million pieces of ID they'll need for a new customer. Getting interest monthly will be useful as well as we can save or OP it as we decide.

We very sadly had to say goodbye to our dog, we will miss him terribly but are very grateful for the years we shared.

I will need to do a re-budget as our pet expenses were very high with him being a giant breed, and also still need to cancel our pet insurance.

    To do list:
    Cancel Pet Insurance
    Renew Line Rental Saver
    Change electricity tariff/provider
    Open 123 account
    Monthly TSB shuffle
    Re-budget

Thank you all for your kind words, and I'm sorry to hear of your own loss Mrs Money Penny.

My to-do list hasn't changed much:

    To do list:
    [strike]Cancel Pet Insurance[/strike]
    Renew Line Rental Saver
    Change electricity tariff/provider
    Open 123 account
    [strike]Monthly TSB shuffle[/strike]
    Re-budget

We've had some family visit and between the cost of doing things and the time spent with them I haven't had a very MSE month so far.

I've made a couple of OPs which total £126. Hopefully we'll manage something else towards the end of the month. We also have a couple of things around the house/garden to pay for so need to prioritise OPs/savings with remaining money - heart says OP but head says save as we'll need to cover the cost of the house things.

We also need to look at a travel system/pushchair again. We have seen one locally which we are steering towards however I feel like we should shop around more before deciding as there are so many options, and it's hard to tell what's good quality and what's a designer price tag for the untrained eye!

It feels like June has been quite a long and busy month.

I've opened a 123 account but it's up and running yet, looking forward to making the most of the 3% interest!

I still need to re-budget and take out our dog's costs. I've been meaning to but just haven't had the time to sit down and get it done yet, it doesn't matter too much as we're under spending compared to what's budgeted for by quite a lot but it will be good to have the figures done. I think it will be a July job now though!

    July to do list:
    Renew Line Rental Saver
    Change electricity provider/tariff
    Re-budget

We're into double figures for the countdown to baby now, I don't know where the time is going! We've sorted a travel system now and have most of the bigger items, just a few optional things ( baby carrier) to look into and day to day stuff (nappies etc.). I want to look into washable nappies and see if we would be able to use them at least some of the time.

I've made an OP of £100 today, hopefully there will be more to follow however we've had a couple of household spends as sur microwave and lawn mower both needed to be replaced so OPs might suffer this month!

£24 OP made to bring June's total to £250. Not the best month but certainly not the worst. We've got quite a busy few weeks ahead and I'm not sure how much we'll be able to OP until the end of July but here's hoping.

    Mortgage balance today: £80,508.09

I can't wait until it dips below £80,000 - hopefully this month!

    July to do list:
    Renew Line Rental Saver
    Change electricity provider/tariff
    Re-budget
    [strike]TSB Shuffle[/strike]
    Set up 123 account
    Return online order for refund

I've just made a little OP for £45 from the TSB shuffle and monthly reward rounded up - hopefully more to follow!
