Have a couple of day off now, planning on getting the house and garden in some sort of order.

Bought varnish for the new doors, I hope the colour is right, if not I'll have to learn to like it :rotfl:

I'm not sure what to do OP wise this month. The disposable income we normally use on it has gone on new shower for BTL and renewing my LL membership, may wait until the end of the month to see what's left as we're ahead of target and can afford to miss a larger OP for a month if necessary.

Still waiting for quite a few things to track on £co, think my browser is not the best choice as I never used to have trouble with it.

Download a cookie cleaner and clear your browser history before doing each transaction.

I use ccleaner, but not sure if its available free anymore.
Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month

I think you're right lilmissup. I do have cc cleaner but just got out of the habit of using it when everything seemed to track fine without bothered. That'll teach me!!

Thanks for stopping by crumpets! I wish I felt organised :rotfl:I think it's list-keeping, I'm sure I'd get in quite a muddle without the numerous lists I have on the go!

Baked a lovely Victoria sponge today with vanilla buttercream, used up quite a few eggs from the girls and got to play around with icing - just need to eat it now!

Waiting in for a courier who is turning out to be very elusive...

I called up pet insurance company and cancelled renewal as it increased by almost 30%! Apparently it's because I got a promotion when I took it out. I've taken out a new policy and should get Quidco cashback, still more than I was paying last year but v.reasonable.

Shower at BTL is all sorted and membership renewed.

Made a small OP today, it still means we're above target for the year so far, just haven't OPd our usual monthly £209. I'll need to put any extra this month into savings now as we're lagging on our target by about £500 for the year just now

I bought some new tyres through black circles website, great way to do it and £co cashback too!

I've picked up an extra shift at work this week, had quite a quiet month so far so every little helps.

Unless anything comes through rom £co it will likely be the end of the month before we can add any more to the pot. It's going to be a longggg month this month I think!

Why are companies unable to look after their customers better? Surely they would do better if customers remained loyal to them? Well done on getting a better deal :)

Absolutely Crumpets, there's no reward for loyalty these days!

Sitting here drinking hot chocolate made with full fat milk and topped with squirty cream... goodbye waistline! I'm long overdue a cycle too.

The next week is turning out to be a busy one at work, which is helpful, though payday seems like a long way off this month.

Meal planning is done for the next few days:

    - Fajitas (Chicken/Halloumi)
    - HM Pizza & Coleslaw
    - Mid-week roast dinner
    - Steak, HM chips & Asparagus
    - Salad with focaccia
    weekend isn't planned yet.
Family birthday for a LO coming up, managed not to overspend too much and get presents which are practical and fun. Still need to re-budget for gifts and occasions soon though or Christmas will fall really short. :o

    Hi Becky

Motivated by your pet insurance saving ... didn't get anywhere when I tried for our girl as she's nearly 8 so can't get a new policy, will have to stay where we are. But am about to shop around for the boy as renewal quote is silly and they never gave us a loyalty discount for having two dogs with them, so don't feel particularly loyal in return.

Your menu looks delicious and summery! x
