It's been snowing on and off all day, the roads are still clear so I should be able to get DD back from school by car, I'm not risking the ballet school run tonight though. We'll stay tucked up here and maybe stick a movie on. I feel a baileys coffee calling me when I get home from the school run!

    Fingers crossed for you Alibobsy.
My own addiction is food so I am contemplating making some biccies and eating them. I'm busy rediscovering Bero recipes of my childhood!
The problem is we have had light snow on and off all day and I've been stuck here afraid to go out in case it gets heavier and stops me driving back down the lane - we only need a light covering for that :(.
I'll make a run for it tomorrow hopefully. It keeps snowing a little then melting a little but overall it is melting - very, very, very slowly!
However the fields etc are still deep in snow. The sheep by now have realised I am not a 'stranger bearing food' and some have turned quite feisty - advancing and even stamping their feet at yours truly. Sometimes I 'mehh' and stamp back (I do hope no one is watching :D) but am mindful that some of them have horns...

Snow is hammering down now despite the met office STILL showing no snow here.

Oh burger - we were supposed to be snow free today. Suspect we are next in line.

    craigywv thanks...
Haven't forgotten you. Know you've been busy and been out of sorts...so far the only concert called off was on my town(get together at a local club)so far the main shows have been fine and buses have run...

I can understand your dislike of 2013 AliB, we all need some good news...Glad you got your subs down...I could have signed up for Sky again(they offered a deal)but not knowing what my imcome will be, I did not dare sign up. Most of these companies will drop their prices if pushed and you are prepared to barter.

With my luck the PC will need repairing but...I've brought my broadband, phone line rental and calls down to approx £20 a month instead of approx £30. And I don't think Sky or Talk Talk are any cheaper and adding the TV to the deal, I would probably be paying nearer £30 again...I'll see if I can watch delayed TV when the license is due again. It all helps...

This is a link for the European weather model for 29th January. If the storm continues in this pattern it will bring very high winds and torrential rain with flooding to Ireland and the UK. Of course its a few days away so could change course slightly and the forecasters are watching the other storm system in the Atlantic which is behind it.

Before that comes some forecasters are saying this

I will post more updates as I get them. Hope they help someone.

Cheers. I've pencilled in tomorrow for the chocolate run
Meanwhile I've discovered some leftover cocoa powder so I can make a choccy cake. Be still my beating heart...

Lol...stocking up myself on chocolate and goodies tomorrow as well...still on the healthy eating but chocolate is a necessity for the soul and well being in this bl***y weather! But at least I had the foresight to buy weatherproof/waterproof clothes even though I live in Greece. I swear if one more person tells me on facebook that Greece is always sunny and hot that I will not be responsible for my actions....

Our good friend brought us a new sky box from the UK and delivered it today, but can't even plug it in with the weather we expect. We are down to just two channels on tv and one of those is CNN.....its dire when it comes to that stage. I am working online for the real estate agency rather than watch it tonight. Fortunately since we got the new aerial for the wifi internet it has stayed on during most of the storms. It's just that I get a bit nervous about losing electrical things during the storms ,like we have in the past.
