2T you and your DH are really going through the wars! (((HUGS))) I hope the nose bleed is nothing serious and good news re. your fixed tooth. I hope the weather treats you reasonably well. I didn't know that Italy is being hit by floods, better call my family and check they are safe! Take care x
Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).

Looking at the Texas petition they only need about 2k more signatures by the 9th Dec for it to go before the president, so already 22k people in Texas have signed up!

He says it's not a remnant of Sandy...that is still currently slowly moving east of the American coast.

    Ok thanks for that.

I suppose all we can do is keep prepping and hope for the best.

If I see them I like to give people plenty of warning. Then they can get ready for it or not, whatever they choose to do. Long term forecasts can always be a few days off either way but they have been very accurate lately.

Apparently under the terms they signed up to the union on they have no right to leave, but who knows what will happen. I suspect that, as usual, it will mean politicians spend all their time arguing over legal niceties and don't spend their time on dealing with the stuff that needs their attentions.

Exactly - there are 25million people in Texas - finding 0.1% of them willing to sign a petition is fairly meaningless. All the petition means is the that president has to respond to the request - not that they can actually leave the union!
