Preparedness for when

I presumed the new thread was because this one was getting too long and it had been suggested that after the referendum a new one would be started. I don't think for one moment Mary was suggesting splitting preppers into two factions.

Are there any links from this thread that need taking over to the new ones?

Oh good. It's just that there are people who feel comfortable discussing the current situation and those who don't want to. Suddenly after that round of discussion this new thread popped up with a similar name but different. I thought maybe it was being created as a place for one or the other seeing as how people were going to leave if this thread continued to discuss current events....thus my confusion.
Then when I looked at the first posts it's all about gardening. So I thought the leavers were going to convene there.

Before as seems likely this thread is locked I would like to thank Vanoonoo who a long long time ago in a galaxy far away started what became an informative and interesting thread . Thanks to all who posted although the ride was sometimes a bit bumpy we managed to keep on . It is good to know it will remain here in years to come and if any have never read from the start I recommend doing so - if you can give up a large chunk of your life to do so !!!

I really hope both threads can stay running, they will undoubtedly take slightly different paths but there is room and a need for both I think?

Sorry Mar I logged out straight after posting . I have spent the day making soups , stews and quiches and have been cooking , cooling and now portioning for the freezer .
Vanoonoo last popped in about a year and a half ago . I often wonder how she is but real life has possibly taken over .

We've had so many good people in here over the years eh? We've been so lucky - learning how to prep how to cook how to store how to cope...! I love you lot lol AND THATS AS SOPPY AS I GET! lol

Flippin eck Mar I didn't see that coming ! Agree we've had a ball . A bit wacky at times but real nuggets in among the banter . Careful you have to keep up your scary image - slipped a bit there !

I don't understand, Mrs L - the new thread was intended to be a continuation of this thread purely because it has got so large and we expected anyday for MSE Towers to tell us to move to a new one. I for one wasn't thinking of two threads carrying on.

And Vanoonoo is owed a huge debt of thanks from all of us. Maybe she'll look in on us
