So, basically the minute there is some actual S that wanders too close to the F - half the preppers in here walk off in a huff? LOL magic, good start!
We all need to get over ourselves and as Polly says, talk dehydrators with MrsL !

I'm not huffing - I withdrew to stop other, regular, posters from feeling the need to walk off

If I felt comfortable that I wasn't going to cause upset, I'd want to continue to talk about the current situation, but that's not the case at present

I don't think anyone is actually in a huff, just some people aren't feeling comfortable here atm and don't want to upset anyone.

There are forums (fora?) atm where the opposite view about current events is held by the majority; but the people on those threads/fora are vile to people with the view that doesn't agree with theirs. I don't feel that has happened here.

This thread is now extremely long anyway. Perhaps it's time to start a fresh one that concentrates on prepping issues? :) Weren't we planning to have one called "Prepping for the Brave New World?"

i like this - having gone off in a huff myself twice in recent weeks. As you see, it didn't last long - i'm far too nosy...

So, in a prepping nature (but not dehydrators, cos i don't have one ) what should we be watching for in the foreseeable future as a result of all this shenanigins (SP?)

    the pound?
    food prices?
    energy?

and, when is summer going to arrive....
I wanna be in the room where it happens

Just what I was wondering. Martin was on TV last night and I only caught the bit about imported grocery items costing more. Was thinking of stocking up on ground coffee.

It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!

Maryb, I'm totally confused as to what has happened. A new thread is being started for people who don't what to discuss the S? Or is it for those who do?
Overprepare, then go with the flow.
