Aaaargh!!!! I can't use soap of any kind on my skin. If I try it breaks out in a horrendously sore rash then flakes off in sheets - not a good look.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Even have to be careful about washing up - that's where those gloves come in handy for me.

Anyone got a hankering for hard toilet paper? It's only £38 a roll on ebay.

I'm totally addicted to Mysore Sandal soap, whatever the price... my parents lived in India for 8 years before I was born, and some of my mother's family had lived out there for a very long time. So sandalwood is the smell that connects me instantly to my happy childhood, though I think it was Fairy in the kitchen and carbolic in the scullery!

Oh, yes, you are right.

Funnily enough I used to buy this for the WC's in an office building I owned twenty years ago, even though it was twice the price of the soft even then.

The water bill used to be around £1000 per year, so I tried to think of a way to reduce toilet use.

Izal paper did the trick! Water used reduced by half.

Bedsit Bob - Yes that is the stall on Bury market, the one that sells all kinds of household cleaners and the soaps are in a large box or basket at the front.

oh no thought it was a good idea to have a bath .... to ease sore shoulder....in warm water.... until you realise the handle to get out of the bath is on your weak left side....hence my my Mr Bean,, esque escape....from said bath.... you live and learn
