Their sheets and towels are mostly made of plastic. I am convinced they get inferior products from overseas factories. I will not eat any food from dollar stores as a lot of it is produced in India and China. They wonder why they are failing? Crap products!
Yes I suspect that the same applies here. I have not ventured into one for quite some time. Though Walmart have had 5 quarters of falling sales in the US so even they are suffering. It has clearly been affecting their food sales. It's really easy to default to cynicism these days, since you are almost always certain to be right.0 -

Don't forget we also need loo rolls and we're out of cornflakes......imagine the Te$co cashier's face on seeing that lot on the conveyor belt.....One life - your life - live it!0 -

On what plane of reality would that be considered a good look? :eek:0 -
I usually acquire a misguided admirer about once a year. I think it's middle-age having thinned the field; all the good wimmin are taken and all the bad wimmin are charging, and that leaves the likes of me apparently (if not actually) available.

its slowly fitting into place.. ( in my opinion, might be wrong lol)
1...We sign up and get our gas from Russia
2....Things are unsettled with Russia and other surrounding countries
3....., Russia agrees to supply china with gas
4....... Russia and Ukraine at war/fighting
5..... Cameroooon starts pushing fracking, and saying that even national parks could have special fracking licenses issued.
6...... Camerooon, now starting to get 'bolshy' with sanctions etc against Russia
7..... cameroooon, now saying there is more money in the pot for the military, after doing major scale backs over the last year or two, an now realising we couldn't defend ourselves against a group of kids with pea shooters...
To me, it looks as though the government knows that Russia can turn that gas tap off anytime.. once they start doing bigger sanctions against Russia..
and these are the things we know about that is going on/been said..Work to live= not live to work0 -

GreyQueen did you harvest those nettles? Very nutritious indeed and I did think they could be dried as they are valuable medicinally as well.
I am torn between which news story to follow...the Ebola, the Russians or various other on going conflicts.......then I decided not to watch any of them today but to have a day planning for my winter preparations instead and chilling out this afternoon. Have a good Sunday folks“The superior man, when resting in safety, does not forget that danger may come. 2T that tall the nettles would make some very useful cordage!!!
Very sensible decision not to watch the news, me too and I'm making jam and pickles in the time I would have used, so prepping all the way!!! So far this morning I've made 4 lbs of raspberry jam, 3 jars of pickled red cabbage and hopefully, when it's to setting point 5 lbs of peach and apricot jam. Then He Who Knows has just popped to the lottie for some rhubarb so I can make rhubarb and ginger jam, and rhubarb chutney tomorrow!!!0 -
Well my preps so far today consist of sitting on my bu - erm conserving my energy, and eating porridge/storing carbs0
