Westcoastscot I have got a friend who sells lovely toilet bag sets with one of my soaps in them and she got good feedback from customers, so can do that yes. Herbals like bergamot, lavender, mint, lime and grapefruit sold well.
What is "Snow" - is it a book? Sounds good. Mine was about a fabulous fabled gothic mansion up in the Yukon that is only seen by those who are close to death. Roaming around it is a Yeti-type demon called the Snowman. Although with the weather/water outside I should really be reading Ahab and the Whale lolol

I downloaded Snow and couldn't stop reading it. DH read it too and it has got him thinking. He actually got the camping stove down from the top shelf in the garage and checked it over-something I've been asking him to do for ages.

Hello all, delurking finally, having been reading and thoroughly enjoying this thread for the last year thought it was about time I dropped in properly.
It is blowing up a hoolie outside, not as bad as before Christmas (lost power for 24 hours Christmas Eve, thankfully it was restored by Christmas morning, but plan B was ready to swing into action, and most of my fencing disintegrated which is not funny when you have a four legged Houdini)
New camping stove and gas canisters arrived yesterday so if the power outs again I can make a cuppa and cook a hot meal without having to wander around to my Mums, that will teach me to throw out the old one and forget to replace it.
My SIL had a LBM after Christmas and suggested to my Dd that perhaps they should keep a few more stocks in just in case, but her cheeky reply was that they didn't need to they would just come around here because I apparently have enough to feed the village for several weeks.
Hope everyone is dry and warm. X
  • If you don't mind me asking Roadside (I can't help it, I'm nosey :p ), which stove did you get?

Hiya Roadside & welcome. I can thoroughly recommend this de-lurking business. ;)
  • The 9 LED mini torch is dull but still going.

The single LED large hand torch is all but dead. I expect it to go out completely, overnight.

BB, it is a Marksman, not a brand I have come across before but it was a good deal with the canisters, from Amazon, I have not had a play with it yet though.
