    Morning all

Scuzz - good news on the flat.

CCStar and SAHMx5 - hugs to you.

JW- aargh, just thought I'd resolved to grow my hair and you go and mention your pixie cut. I've got a haircut booked for today and now you may have set me back. I do like my hair short, but then I like it long too, aargh, it's too hard!

TinkerbellUK - good luck with the dissertation. If I'd spent half the time doing mine that I spent worrying about it I would have done a heck of a lot better!

Moggins - must be the day for it. I've got a leg wax booked for this afternoon. Maybe it's the thought of spring. Or perhaps your news involves having to have waxed legs;) :o

I've sneaked a day off w*** with no kids (getting hair on head and legs sorted!).

Also planned to have an hour or so knitting - but last night I discovered I've only got 1/2 a ball of wool left (well, 1/2 a ball of the stuff for my blanket, if you look on top of the bookcase to the right of me you will see balls and balls and balls!). Suppose I'll have to go to Newcastle to get some more. Really hadn't wanted to to go to town, but I NEED TO KNIT!.

I'm reading some of the Elm Creek Quilts books at the moment, they really make me want to start quilting. I should stick to my knitting needles, I really don't have time for more.

Take care - off to load the WM.

absolutly freezing here in essex but the sun is out
    WM is on
SAHM5 sorry to hear abought your DSD hope she comes home and you can have a serious talk with her life on benefits is no picnic
CCstar i know how you feel i feel angry and wound up all the time at the mo and just want to rant with all the aggro going on but it wont do any good as DH is quite calm so i find it best to have a little rant on here instead take care
Moggins hope the waxing goes ok i have my legs done at the college they offered to do under my arms i said no its not too painful i find 1 leg always hurts more than the other for some reason:confused:
anyhoo all the wardrobes are up but we cant use 1 of the double ones as it is damaged and still 1 bit missing so Dh has decided he is entitled to the good double wardrobe and the massive corner wardrobe and 1 drawer in the middle leaving me with 1 double wardrobe and 1 drawer as the other wardrobe is an angled one and i am using that for towels and toiletries etc the overhead unit is for bedding so his clothes are now put away whilst mine are still in the loft and a safeway green box men dont you just love em
hugs to all who need them and hope everyone has a good day

    Good Morning All

(((((hugs))))) to those who need them (too many to mention)

Lovely & sunny here but cold also

Must remember to drop my car off in the valeting bay at work instead of parking it up as usual. If they do clean the inside I will praise them, as its full of muddy foot prints from the kids & dog.

Will start the sausage casserole after the school run for dinner later, ready to put in the SC.

OH will be collecting the forms today from the vets ready to send back to the pet insurance company.

Not much else happening (for a change)
    Catch you later
    Love Emma xxx

    Ho hum

Got to sleep about 3am, woken by birds in the eaves at 6am. Feel pretty manky.

We shall see how the rest of the day pans out.

    Morning everyone

    Welcome to MSE Lambanana

Well done on the flat Scuzz... That's brilliant news and the scary, stressful bit goes away when you're in and settled. Then the cleaning starts.. :D

Lovely lovely blue skies here today. Stuck in the bldy office. Going to see one of my dear friends and have dinner tonight, we are meeting her new bloke. Very exciting as she deserves to be happy as had hard time, bad divorce, single mum, lots of rubbish dates... This one seems serious so I am really pleased for her. Am obviously going to ask parental probing type questions. Teeeheee...

Hugs to all having a bad time or about to embark on a stressful day x x x

    Morning all :D

Thought I'd nip in quickly for a quick catch up.

Seem to have a real problem sleeping at the moment, think it may be a bit of stress over my dissertation

But on the good side the dissertation is going well so hopefully that will continue , but I must admit I'm at the stage now where I just can't wait for it to be over.

Obviously apart from cooking and cleaning not doing much else on the OS front at the moment. Ah well only a month to go before everything is back to normal

Hope everyone is keeping OK and as always take or leave the :grouphug: as needed.

Don't underestimate the effects of sleep depravation and stress

    ((((Huge hugs))))

Good morning everyone. It's really cold. Brrrrr.....

Thanks to everyone who sent support last night.

I've got to wait in today for the windscreen people to come and fix DH's car. He vanished in a taxi at 6.30 this morning.

Last night was horrible. DSD has packed a huge bag and gone supposedly to see her Mum. I told her to wait until her Dad got home but she rang him and assure him she was going to see her Mum (she has alot of undesirable layabout friends). Anyway, DH rings his ex's to see how she is doing and she is not there and is not expected. He went ballistic, she is meant to be looking for a new job near where we live. Her mum lives 20 miles away and she won't find a job in our area there. She doesn't drive and has no intention of learning. She isn't coming back until Friday and it is pre-arranged that she will stay at her Mum's when we go to Spain/Centreparcs next week (we don't want the undesirable friends in our house when we are away). In other words it's 2 weeks until she looks for a job. He was so angry I was worried about his heart. He's told her to decide where she wants to live.

I am so disappointed in her. I bent over backward to help her yesterday when she got the news.

Why are children so drawn to friends with no jobs, living off the state. She is under the impression that their lifestyle is rosier than hers. I could hear her telling her Dad but X is "there for me", he ranted at her that X may be there for her but X wouldn't get her a ****** job.

    So sorry to rant:o

I'd better go make a cup of tea to calm down.

Have a good day everyone. Hugs to all who need them.

    Sahmx5

I know exactly what you mean about children/teenagers being attracted to people who have no jobs etc.

    ((((Big hugs))))

    Good morning! :hello:

Yesterdays funeral in Sheffield was every bit as bad as I dreaded! How family can behave so badly towards each other at a time like this I really don't understand  b-i-l 's sister was an absolute cow to him and the rest of her very large family all snubbed him  He had just lost his Mum as well! Anyway we just got him home asap luckily snow held off until we got to stansted. Very very cold though!

    Scuzz - well done!:T that's great news!

JW - lovely to hear from you, well done on the weight loss!:T

    Moggins - Wow! you're brave!

Queenie - Where are you? Missing your posts!

I know that Ivyleaf is away on a holiday of a lifetime in New Zealand but should be back with us soon.

Still very cold here in Essex so heating has been turned up! Brrr!

    Have a lovely day

    Catz x

There is always one horrible family member, even at funerals
