    Run Free Lennox.

This was never about you sweetie. It was politics, and you just happened to get caught in the middle.

To be honest, you're now in a much better place than that prison.

    I still can't believe it.

I had been imagining him going to his new home in America and being so loved and happy. I could see him in my mind's eye playing in his new garden.

I was so convinced he'd get a reprieve at the last minute. Poor poor lad. I'm absolutely heartsick.

Bless you, Lennox, darling boy. I'm so, so sorry we couldn't save you :(

    What they said.

Good Administrators are people who can stand up and admit when a mistake has been made. It has been obvious to the worldwide community that a mistake was made by someone in BCC but they never had the Humility to admit this. They are not Good Administrators. Even Hundreds of thousands of people campaigning in the world stage could not get BCC to back track. If you saw the pictures of those campaigning in New York and other cities across the states you have seen what an impact this injustice has had across the world.

I hope the Vet that administerd the injection feels suitably ashamed of his/her actions.

I know there are people on this thread and worldwide say 'It's just a dog get over it' Dogs are a huge part of many peoples lives. the struggle to get Lennox back and the fiight angainst the Dangerous Dogs Act (BSL in NI) is indicitive of the way officialdom and governments can act. Poorly thought out Knee jerk Legislation and mistakes in the system have a huge effect on people everyday. The inability of officialdom and Politicians to admit mistakes and problems effects normal people everyday.

Anyone who listens to Mark Kermode's film reviews will know that Tinker, Tailor, Soldier spy is not about spying. In the same way this campaign has not been about a Dog. It has been about injustice and jobsworths, inability to admit mistakes and knee jerk legislation that adds nothing to society but make everyday people suffer.

I hope that this Families loss enables a springboard to remove the Dodgy legislation that is the DDA and bring in some proper thoughtout legislation that will actually have an effect in protectiong people from dangerous dogs. I also hope it may make MPs, Councils and others think about actions and mistakes that have a huge impact on everyday people and that they realise that everyone makes mistakes but honourable people admit that they have and try and rectify them.

This is the problem and we are all to blame for it. We, as members of this society, allow ourselves to be too greatly influenced by what we read and hear in the media, and politicians are too scared of what will be said and written in the press, and make up legislation without proper thought and/ or consultations.

When a tragic incident occurs, whether it involves an animal or a human being as the guilty party, we allow massive public hysteria to take over. Fear is the best way to control people because frightened people will agree to just about anything, ie any kind of legislation.

Personally, although I believe it's sad and unfair, I am relieved that the dog was destroyed. Spending all that time in a cage, being treated as a killer, after having been a family pet? Not a life.
