That's so awful, why continue to be so inhumane to the owner's even after the decision has been made?

Smacks of punishing them for daring to fight for their dog. If someone tried to take mine away from me, keep them in appalling conditions and kill them when they'd done absolutely nothing wrong...well, I'd find it very very hard to stay on the right side of the law.

I think I'll go with the experts on this one. Looking at all the objective facts, I'm struggling to see how this family has any right to elicit sympathy from the public.

What the hell are you talking about?:mad:

    How horrible.

The council have acted appalingly and all involved should be ashamed of theirselves, especially the dog warden who has now been outed as a liar - is she still a dog warden ??

To be honest,I am inclined to believe that the dog has already been PTS some time ago & that they are playing the denail game in order not to be found out.
THAT I wouldn't put past BCC.

The canine experts who have deemed the dog to be a danger. I struggle to find ways to feel sorry for people that kept their pet outside in all weathers, didn't train him correctly, and when given the chance to make his life in kennels a little bit better, refused to do so.

I feel for the dog, but I feel nothing but contempt for the people involved. For them to claim that they care so much for this dog, but not do the basics - doesn't add up to me.

Which so called experts are you gong with?
Have you read what's been said by the independent behaviourists who met him and interacted with him?

You really don't get it, do you? It's not to do with the family eliciting sympathy

This is about an innocent dog losing it's life :(

I haven't, could you link to their findings please? I do feel for the dog but I don't feel for the people involved.

I really hope you're wrong spike, but sadly after all I've read about them I wouldn't put it past them either
  • disgusting behaviour by belfast city council and the USPCA.

I won't give the uspca another penny because of lennox's story. I also believe he's been destroyed hence not allowing his family to see him now or after he's been destroyed.

There have been many offers to pay for him to be rehomed in america where he'd be safe and would have a happy life, why on earth BCC can't accept this i'll never know.

poor lennox and that poor family

Don't forget that this is the same council who's Mayor refused to present a Duke of Edinburgh award medal to a 14 year old because he got the award thru the Army Cadet Force,a youth organization.
