these attendants at Yorkgate (Citywest) are the worst; recently noticed one standing outside Sports Direct. an elderly lady parked in disabled spot and got out, before she had even closed her door he had ticket ready to go, until she took her disabled card from handbag and showed it to him; what a disappointment for him; I notice 4/5 of them walking round Yorkgate parking site every Sat and have seen people get tickets, have told them to ignore and get on the site; Was had myself i Boucher lasy year and thanks to site i ignored 3 UK parking letters. 3 from their Solicitors (so called) and 4 Debt colletcors. ignored all heard nothing more.

Corbo Properties. If you're going to write a letter I'll save you the stamp by saying don't bother. They employ UK parking to generate revenue. Just bin the "fine". They can’t pursue you for any money through the courts or take a CCJ out or anything.
  • Hello, my dad just received one of these "fines" from Ukparkingcontrol.com. They showed a grainy image of his car and claimed he was parked in a disabled spot at Boucher without a blue badge. He has a blue badge and always displays it. You cannot even tell from the photo whether or not the badge was being displayed, it is so blurry and grainy.
They also stated that they had contacted him previously about this (utter lies)and because he had not reponded they were adding late charges on to the fine, and if it was not paid they would send baliffs round. My dad is 74 but smart enough to realise that it was a scam so he didnt send any money but did contest it online. Even so, i am furious with these people for harrassing him in this way as he is in poor health. I know they will continue to send vile threatening letters so i want to know, is there any way to stop them?

I parked here when I took my Mum who's 71 to the shops. I parked in a disabled bay but the blue badge must have fell when I got out of car. I got a ticket. I rang them and explained what had happened and they told me to put in a claim which I did along with photos of the blue badge. I received another letter from them yesterday telling me they had reduced the fine to £15 and 10% off this would go to charity!!! As far as I'm concerned they can go f**k themselves

Nice one. Have you seen this thread: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4787061 ?
  • Thing is I sent them pics of the badge. As soon as they seen the proof that should've been good enough for them.
Have you ever heard of the saying "no one likes a smart a*se" ?

Hi guys I know the last post was some 8 months ago.
My mother was at Boucher road on Wednesday and was going Into Next so she parked along the road parking beside the kerb, and upon return she found one of these UK parking fines for 100.00 stating that she hadn't parked correctly in the space or the bay. This is the same ticket that you all speak of and not issue by our own red coat people... My mother says the other thing she can think of is that the car wheels were outside of the line but at that the car was not impeding anyone from driving past on the main road....

Is the policy to just ignore these?

Is it worth contacting our own red coat parking attendants and asking their advice?

Seems they are just trying to generate revenue from innocent parkers

    Cheers

hey Guys - took your advice and mum has ignored these. She has got two other letters in mean time and just now another saying she now owes £160!!!! like what the hell - how can they do this ? its daily light robbery ?

when do they stop sending the letters = when the fine is 500???

    advise again folks.

    many thanks
